I am planning to host a business card design contest for my www.photozo.com, very simple one, but professionally finished. How much do you think I should offer for the winner?
Thank you!

I think whatever you would typically offer for a logo contest would be sufficient.

Do you have a logo that you will supply or do you need that created as well?
Please note that it is VERY important to talk with your printer before you begin the contest to get his printing specs (ie trim size, bleed size, file formats perferred, 4-color or spot color?, etc.) Failure to do so may result in a file that your printer can't use or one he may charge you extra for because it's not "print-ready". Every printer has different requirements.
*edit* I just looked at your site and recall the contest you had here for the header. If that is the graphic you plan on using, is it available in Hi-Rez (300 dpi) or web resolution (72 dpi) only? Hi-rez would be needed to get the best quality results.

Thank you for both of your reply.
Yes, I have my header design done here and happy about that.
On the business card, I probably just put the little lens (O) between "t" and "g" on the business card. But if you think it looks better to put the big logo.gif or part of it, it's fine with me. So yes, the logo used on business card is ready. And I believe it has the 300 dpi resolution.
Here are what I got from kinkos printing:
12 cards per page (8.5x11 inch), no border around business cards, and at least 1/4 inch margin from the sheet borders.
Full color; PDF file
2X3.5 inch for the business card.
As of the price, since I've already had the logo ready, the price for logo design sounds high to me for a business card design.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

If you go to a smaller print shop in your area most of them offer business card design along with their printing services. It won't be anything spectacular, as you get what you pay for, and it will probably run you about $30.
Also I think some Kinko's offer business card design as well, just ask them.
