Hello again,
I am very pleased with our logo that was created in this forum previously. We are now ready to create an E Commerce website template utilizing the logo. (Index page) Our current site is www.blackriverfloors.com and it will be converted to a dynamic site with shopping cart by a company from Elance.com We would like to utilize a design from this forum for our new site. Our customers are very technical, educated, homeowners. We would like to portray our company as genuine, sincere, trustworthy, and professional. Sites of our competitors are ifloor.com , floorsonly.com , floorone.com, fastfloors.com , diyflooring.com , builddirect.com . We should have top and left navigation. We would like a space to show featured products and featured brands. I look forward to viewing your designs.

Thank you for the submittal. I think the 2nd design is more favorable but it is not as bold or masculine as I would like. I prefer the buttons and such be more rectangular and not so many curves. Maybe the Blue color a little darker and a 3rd color other than the green...possibly a maroon? We are trying to completely redefine our image, so many of the items on our current site may not be relevant. The paper clip note is cute but I think that our Ph# and business hours could be placed in another location that does not take up valuable selling space. Rather than placing the popular manufacturers we would prefer to have space to highlight particular sales promotions and featured items.

Thanks for joining! A very clean design and good start. A few things that should be added to the layout. We require that the tel. number be very visible at or near the top of the page. Along with the logo we will need shopping cart info. I would like the Color logo used, thus the blue color within the logo can be used in the template as well. This will be our index page and we need a lot of space to offer special sales and promotions. you can view some of what we are looking for at our competitors sites. ie. www.floorone.com (great ad space), ifloor.com , fastfloors.com We should also have main category navigational links across the top in addition to the sidebar menu. The main links are Hardwood, Cork, Bamboo, Laminate , Blowout Specials. Personally I like the smaller fonts but I think for our users they should be a bit larger. We should show the products on special 4 products across, similar to floorone.com in order to optimize space. Thank you and I look forward to seeing more!

Thanks for the recent submittals. I like both. however, i think we should do away with the Quick links as they will be unnecessary in our new site. Lets make top and left navigation of Hardwood, Cork, laminate, Linoleum, blow out specials, and area rugs. We need this because our side navigation will disappear in our new site when a category is choosen (left side will tree down further in subcategories.)
