Hi

I need a flash presentation to describe how our messaging platform works.

As an example of what I need, take a look at http://www.multimodeinc.com/demo.htm#

Our platform is similar to the demo above but focused more on incoming messages and bulk sending. We have a new application for sharing US shortcodes which makes it simple for a company to receive messages from individuals with mobile handsets. We are supporting messages to and from all the main mobile networks including Alltel, Cingular, Dobson, Nextel/Boost, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.

The application works on the first word in an mobile text message, it routes the message to the companies call center package or simply to an email based on the first word.

We are also able to support logging or database queries where information can be queried from an application.

The possibilities are pretty endless, we just need to the diagram to show each element without being too cluttered.

The key elements are..

1. Representation of a single message moving from the customer side to the company side of the diagram enclosed.

2. Representation of a single message moving from the company side back to the client as confirmation.

I want a couple of these to be sent with a mobile screen displaying the word to make the routing decision.

3. Bulk message from one company out to all clients simulating a personal message delivered to an unlimited number of end users.

4. Text voting to an application on the server.
We support a full application programmers interface supporting FTP, HTTP, SOAP, COM, SMTP using languages like C#, VB, C++, PHP, HTML

I want it to be quite plain, the main company colours are those in the logo in the diagram. White and blue with the gold logo. We are a Microsoft house, so it's good to use XP like images to suggest this without actually saying it.

It's important to include the fact that we support the main mobile networks.

Please, please let me know if you wish to make an entry. I like to make fast decisions on which project to accept so as not to waste anybodys time. This is a project which is ready for launch so I need the movie ASAP.

Thank you for your participation.

Hello, I want to join this project, but I need the screen scenario and the text detail to display in the presentation... can provide this?

Hi Sure, I only have the screen which I grabbed from the web in low res.

Scenario 1 ( Incoming messages )

Jane has been a long standing customer of ABC Finance Inc. Recently ABC launched a "Call me service" for clients.

Rather than wait in a call queue, Jane can now request a call back at any time by sending a mobile text message "ABC Call me" to a five digit code.

- > "ABC Call me" text passes from Jane to ABC.

When the sms is received, if an agent is not available to make an outbound call an automated response is sent back to Jane with the anticipated wait time.

This can be received simply as an email which will be placed into a group mailbox or sent into an automated dialer system…….

-> "Hi Jane, You can expect a call within the hour. " text passes back from ABC Finance to Jane.

When an agent is free, a call is made to Jane. For Jane this is great as there is no more time spent holding in a queue. ABC Finance smooth out peaks in their day and ensure they hold on to customers.

Scenario 2 ( Bulk Sending)

ABC Finance Inc. take payments every week from their clients for their services. On some occaisions payments bounce or are rejected as the clients banking details or circumstances have changed. ABC run a batch file every week which sends all new agreement holders a curtosy message;

Simulate three messages going to indiciduals from ABC

From "ABC Inc"
Message " Hi Jane, your first payment is due on Friday, any problems reply with 'ABC Call Me'"

ABC Customer satisfaction has improved by 30% since intorducing a new channel for the clients to contact them.

Scenario 3 ( Voting )

WNAK Radio have a poll on Mondays to see what record of the day to play. All listeners within the US over internet or local radio can send their request to the server which will filter and work out the request.

On air, they advertise, "Send WNAK and your request to out five digit shortcode and we will be reading requests from 12.00pm."

-> Simulate messages going from the mobile to the server from a few recipients.

WNAK have the capability to run competitions which are charged for by reverse billing the mobile user or simply collecting the text as a form of voting for the mobile senders standard charges.

We offer a full programmers toolkit and software services to tightly integrate mobile messaging in to your processes or applications.

Is this enough info? :)

Hi Steve,
this is my trial for first scenario: incoming message only. If you get feeling I will forward this to next scenario

Hi ,

I got it to load and the start looks fantastic....

Can you amend the following please.

Make the clients on the right single people rather than two people.

Take the "90100" out of the centre of the screen and perhaps reduce the size of the blue globe slightly.

Can you show the call being made out to Jane perhaps by turning the line red or something?

We will need some dialogue labels to introduce the service and describe what is actually happening along the way.

Hi Steve,
can you download and see my flash file?

Hi gig,

Sorry for not replying..

Yes I can and it looks very good, there would be a couple of ammendments which are fairly minor. I'd like to end the contest very soon but as two other designers have said they are working on concepts so I should give them a fair view.

I would suggest that anyone else should not start an entry at this point as this contest will close within a day.

Hi Steve, hereŽs my entry. I hope you appreciate it ! :)

HereŽs the flash and the html page zipped:

EveryMessage part 1 (http://www.openmarket.com.br/DesignOutpost/everymessage/EveryMessage.zip)

It took time to develop the movie, but the dialogues an easy part. The timeframe to finish the whole movie is 2-3h with all 3 stages.

Thank you.

Hi Henrique

It's good.. Nice and clean images, quick to load etc..

Initial feedback is..

Too many arrows flying around on the first page, the arrows within the logo are there to show the two-way (send & receive) capability of the service.

The Globe makes it feel less personalised. Although the presentation is for the USA, I want to make it appropriate in the UK and the US so the core is the "everymessage" service platform.

The companies on the left are a bit distracting as they are constantly moving even though they are not the key focus point for each scenario.

Could you tidy the presentation based on the feedback above? Do not add any more slides at this stage.

Many thanks..

Steve

Thank you for your swift feedback Steve. I appreciate it very much. :)

You are right about the "Receive < > Send" concept. IŽll work on it.

About the globe, i didnŽt know about the restrictions. IŽll think about something else, something more neutral like you mentioned.

I had an idea that was to fade out to grey all elements that were not active. So the rest os the 3 clients could fade to light grey and the radio station too... I could not implement that timely, since i was in a rush to post my concept asap. IŽll try simplify those elements a bit more.

Thank you,

Henrique

Hi

Just to make things a little clearer...

Our service is an ASP type model, we reside in the internet and connect vial email or any other web protocol for incoming and outgoing messages. Our service removes the need for any hardware at the clients site.

On the left of the diagram we should have three companies using the service.

The application data store probably should be removed as it will probably lead to some confusion.

The core service platform is virtual in the centre of the movie.

The clients / consumers using the service on the right hand side are clients of the companies on the right. Each should be named to make the service more personal. e.g. Jane, Fred, Bill, Jake etc..

From the initial designs, I'd like to select Gig as the project winner so long as you are happy to complete the project in good time?

Thank you for the other entries, it is a close call but Gig has it..

There are some modifications to be done to complete which we can pick up here or in a private thread.

If you have a messenger address can you post me in a private thread please?
