Hello all! I must say I very impressed by the great things you all come up with! I am looking for a logo for a doggy daycare that will be opening soon. I really don't have alot of ideas in mind yet so I'm pretty open to anything. The name will be ...
Club K-9 Doggy Daycare
My only thoughts are that I need somthing that will look good from far away for signs ect. and somthing that will look ok if I get it on shirts and jackets. I don't have an artistic bone in my body so other that I'm open! Thanks!

Wow, thanks guys for the quick response.... Here is what I think so far

Taldo, The dog is cute but his head is on some shirts I've seen for a different pet sitting service in my town. Don' want to look to close to them :blink:

Sparkie, cute but I don't want people to think it is just for puppies

Just G, I like the first one better, it's easier for my eyes to figure out. Plus the bulldog on the other one is kinda scary :D

I want people to think of happy playful dogs. These dogs get to play all day off leash so I want something that will show a happy maybe energetic dog. I'm really excited to see what people come up with!

Don't know why I am going on and on about what the dog should look like! I am also open to something with a pawprint(s). I want something that will look great as a sign but could be done with a little less detail for shirts if needed. After this contest I may run one for help with my website also. Thanks guys!

Thanks for the post I was beginning to think everybody was tired of the pet themes :) I like that it is very easy to read and basic. I want something that people can figure out from a distance. I have a logo for my pet sitting biz and I have never really liked it because it seems hard to figure out. If you want to check it out the pet sitting website is www.caninestofelines.com I may want to revamp that logo next but one project at a time :P
I checked out your portfollio on your website and I like alot of the logos you've done. I will try to post some websites with logos that I like to give some ideas what I am after since I am not good at describing it.

I like that one alot, but not crazy about the dog picture. I am wanting something that looks a little more like it was created for the logo not just a clip art pic. Does that make sense??? I thought I would post some of the dog daycare logos that I have seen that I like. Hope that helps... and hope I post them right :P

As you can see they all seem to be pretty basic. Nothing too fancy or with tons of detail. Fun yet professional. Maybe these will spring up some more ideas :D

That is a great question! I guess I forgot to put a deadline! Lets say Aug. 1st. That is one week from today. I wanted to comment on some of the great entries....

Just G - Havn't seen anything else from you, do you have any other ideas? Your simple dog is starting to grow on me, can I see it with Club K-9 DoggyDaycare? I like the black and red.

Elkootcho - Love the black and red you are using. On 02 is there any other dogs that can go with that or maybe something with a pawprint? I love the one with the puppys butt looking at the words. It was great but I am afraid it wont look right on screen printed t-shirts or signs for the building.


imberra22 - I like 02 the best can I see it with any other colors?

Taldo - Love the bone idea! I am wanted something a little more eye catching though. Maybe a different color or something to make it stand out more.

Hey there! Here are two versions. I could add a collar and some shadow to the puppy and fix some line endpoints if you like that one. The pawprint is very rough because I haven't vectored it but if you like that one I can vector it and give it a bit more style.

:D Wow, great work everybody! This is going to be really tough! Anyway, here are my thoughts...

Elkootcho- LOVE the 05 with the dog running. He looks very happy and playful yet simple. LOVE IT! Can I see it with the letters a little taller maybe? I love that the dog is just barely touching the words. That makes it seem more "logoish" to me instead of just words with clipart.

Christian - Cute! Can you do anything somthing where the words actually touch the picture so it seems to go together? Also, any other colors?

Just G - Can you do something with bigger or capital letters?

Taldo - Still like the bone idea and I do like those colors!

Great job everybody!!! I am going to extend the deadline through the weekend so I can get some opinions from my friends and family! It's such a hard decision!

Great! Just send me an e-mail telling me where you need the logo sent and in what file formats (if you have a preference). I'll finalize the logo and e-mail it to you. If you don't have a file preference that's ok. I'll save the design in several popular formats that should cover pretty much every use that you come across.
