Conference theme: Health Disparities: lessons from the past, Vision for the future

Just FYI: Health disparity is defined as differences in health status among distinct segments of the population including differences that occur by gender, race or ethnicity, education or income, disability, or living in various geographic locations.

Please use the conference theme as part of the logo. I'm looking for something professional & creative. The logo will be used in ALL publications related to this conference only.
PS...This conference is for North Carolina.

Medigraph, Thank you for your creative design. Your choice of colors are perfect. Is there any way you can change the "people" to show more disparities?

Just FYI: In the original logo, the "rooster head" looking object represents the sun & the moon to indicate being healthy from sun-up to sundown....Hope this little tidbit helps get the creative juices flowing.

Thank you for the feedback. I added some more kids, as well as other races (such as afro-americans), however it is generally difficult to be too much specific when working with silhouettes. Comments will be welcomed.

Jon, thank you also. I can't see the disparities message clearly in your design which is quite important for this event.
Jennifer, thanks for changing the colors on your first design....I like your apple design even better, and the last one BEST!! Would you mind using our colors and let me see what that looks like.

Thank you so much Medigraph. would you mind making the following recommendations by another set of eyes?
1) Make"Annual Conference" be in upper and lower case - not all caps.
2) Use a different font than what is used in the "Healthy Carolinians",
It will help distinguish the organization from the theme name. Thank you for your hard work and being patient.
