(Admin code added by Palmer - 9S128971TK877141V)
We would like a logo for a new company offering food-related services.
Company name: lunch.be
Company description: B2B service for ordering food (lunch) with different suppliers. In the future the business could be expanded to B2C (offering services to individuals)
Logo details: The name lunch.be should be embedded in the logo. It shouldn't be too "busy" and should look good on a web page.
Preferred colors: no preference (maybe some orange)
Thanks!
Philippe Leybaert

Here is a simple logo involving a fork and a knife.

:) The symbol represents a healthy way of life. Eat well and feel better. The idea is to have an earthy feel to the concept. My entry:

So far we haven't seen anything that we really like. The designs by medigraph are a step in the right direction, although the clock version is missing some "body".
Trysen: Although the idea is not bad, the logo seems a little too vegetarian :-)
General remark: "lunch.be" should be in lowercase.
We also have decided to remove the color restrictions (so any color combination can be used in new designs)

nhr: Your design is very nice. So far, we like this one the most.
Some remarks:
- the colors are a litttle cold (and the ".be" is hard to read)
- the waiter's plate seems a little too detailed for a logo
Thank you for the feedback.

To be honest, we haven't seen anything yet that makes us go "wow" (A lot of the designs in other threads do have that effect though)
In a lot of the designs presented here, there is too much detail. The logo we want shouldn't have thin lines and detailed drawings. I will look in the other threads for logos that we like, and I'll post them later today.
The desings we like the best so far are:
- The first one from medigraph (although the fork/knife/spoon is too detailed)
- The design by nhr (again, a little too detailed). The colors are still an issue.
- The logo by Fran makes a good impression, but it's missing something, but I don't know what.
Fabian: very nice first version, although I had to look at it for quite some time before I could figure out what the drawing represented  . The dots also make it look like a colon instead of a period.
Hello,
I changed a little my logo proposal :)

Not quite...
Fran: your last entry looks promising. Can you create a few variations?

Fran: Your last design looks really good. Can you use that as a base and add "something" ?
nhr: Your original design still looks best (with the waiter in blue). Maybe change the waiter's plate to "just a plate" (I have no idea what the round thing on the plate is called in English). Also, the font is not that nice. The letters should be closer together too.
Unless someone comes with a completely new entry, these are the designers who we will choose from.
Thank you, activa :)

Fran and nhr: great work!
It's going to be a difficult decision...
I'll be back soon with the verdict :)

Well, it was a VERY close call (more than 20 people voted and the difference was just 1 vote...)
The design by nhr was selected as the winner!
Fran: terrific job, but there can be only one winner...
We would like to see some minor modifications, so I guess this thread should be moved to the revisions forum.
Thanks to everyone for their effort.
Philippe
Thank you very much for choosing my design, Philippe :)
Please, tell me something abot those modifications...

Please take your version 4.0 design and make the circle filled with a light color and a dark stroke (like in version 1.0)
Using this as a base, we would like to see a few color variations that you think would look good, and also try one or two different fonts.

Can you send me logo 4.6, but using the original font from version 4.0 ?
Thanks,
Philippe
