I'm getting together a plan for the things I want to accomplish with my recently launched web venture, during the 2003-2004 winter off-season, and am looking for some creative input - so of course I thought I'd go looking here first.
I'm not offering any $$ at this point, and am just looking for some textual input. If you were to change the layout or function of my site Ground Trades Xchange (http://www.groundtradesxchange.com)- what would you do?
Jeff
The site is great, I havn't really delved into the functionality nor the usability but everything looks neat and well layed out.
My only gripe would be the colour scheme. A little antiquated for my taste, and maybe a tad too literal. It's just a matter of personal taste. However, this is the ever so dynamic internet, let's move forward, loose the peach-on-brown !

If you look at some of the competing sites, they are even more tritely (is that a word?) colored. One of the things I like about Jeff's color scheme is that it is warm and thus friendly feeling. Maybe it could be tweaked a bit but I don't want it to feel cold. And yes I visit the site daily.

See? The chick's dig it.
What does the 'dynamic internet' mean for you (ODR), in terms of colors?

... yep, and that's all that counts
For colours, I was thinking blues, greens and a light gray, you know, something timeless, am I making any sense?

Jeff cannot use green and grey. White and blue have also been used. And I really don't care for grey for a 'dynamic' community full of 'earth' people.
