Obtain more clients. Currently, this company is small and those working here have been part-time. We are now starting to grow to the point where we want people full-time.

What are your long term goals?
Our short term goal for now is to create a niche doing bookkeeping and other financial services for small contracting and sub-contracting companies in the construction industry. Our long term goal is to replicate what we created in the construction industry to other industries.


When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
We were hoping to choose an entry by this Saturday, May 27th, and work with the finalist during the weekend to have our final product ready to go to print by May 30th. We are still hoping that we can accomplish this.

Small companies, for now mainly contracting and sub-contracting companies in the construction industry, but later to all industries

Who would you like to add to your audience?
Right now, just more small companies that would be interested in us doing their bookkeeping and financial forecasting for them.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Something simple, not too much flash, probably on the conservative side. Because we are offering financial services, we would like a very professional image. However, I have used this site before and picked images different from what I wrote because I liked the idea. I stated what I would prefer, but it is just because I lack creativity.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Not really, may be something classic or professional looking. I would probably be able to comment more on this once I see some ideas.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Not right now, I know that there are better ideas out there than I can even begin to imagine.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Professional, accurate, honest, dependable, simple, and of great value.

What is your tagline or slogan?
We don't have one yet

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
We want people to see how much we can benefit them. By having us concentrate on their finances, they can focus on what they do well in their business.

Where will your new logo be used?
Mainly on business cards, attire, a website, and other marketing material

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Most of our competitors are either accountants charging a lot more than we do, or family businesses who do their own to save money, but don't have the knowledge and experience to do their bookkeeping and accounting accurately.

Honesty, reliability, experience, attention to detail, passion and drive for what we do, and a desire to use that for the benefit and success of others.

I like that your image actually had some meaning behind it. The book/check mark image is pretty clever.
Is there a different font and color you can use? We're not sure what to suggest, but we would like to see other fonts and colors. Sorry, I hope that helps.

Not bad, I am glad to get more people involved to see different ideas. I really like the logo that you came up with for your own entity. The two R's in a circle, one right side up and the other upside down. Could you play around with that idea and see what you can come up with.

Thanks for your update, we're going somewhere with this idea. We'd like to see a few different fonts used in your idea and maybe different colors too. Is it possible to move the letters a little farther away from the pencil? I'd like to see that as well.

I've attached a logo I found, if you could duplicate the font found on the words Daniel & Ernest, I'd love to see that.

Here's where we stand right now. We like Joshua's check mark and book, but we're not sure we love it.

We'd really like to see NHR's pencil idea with some different fonts and different colors, if he could make that happen.

My partner would like to see a design using the initials NP or NPI like graphixparanoid's own logo.

We were hoping for quite a few more options to look at and choose from. We're bookkeepers, not the most creative types, the more pictures and choices we have to look at help us better figure out what we'd like.
