Hi,

This is my first logo contest here. I came across this site a couple of years ago and it suddenly came to mind when we needed a logo design. So keep the shapes and colors flowing :D

Project Summary:

The following text should be included in the main part of the logo:

POKASH

you may add: .com

Our main goal is to offer the most complete online poker bonus guide, with other poker related content on the side. Poker bonuses look fishy to some poker players. We want to prove them wrong. So the logo has to look professional and give out a message of trust. Eventually we want to become a launch platform for new and existing online poker rooms.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:

no pOkAsH .It has to be catchy and professional. Please choose colors that you think suits the logo the best. You may find some inspiration on the following sites.

http://www.partypoker.com/ (notice the purple and the green)
http://www.hollywoodpoker.com/

Communication Strategy:
POKASH stands for POKER CASH. The logo has to stand for poker bankrolls, helped being made with bonuses.

our tagline:

POKASH, the Online poker career home.

our overall message:
We have the mos’t complete updated bonuses listed. Plus a lot of special bonuses that can only be found at POKASH.

The logo will be used:
On top of our website. And it it will be used on promotional banners and maybe flyers. The website will have the following width: 1057px*

our competitors:
b o n u s w h o r e s.com
Pokerlisings.com

The logo’s of our competitors are meant to be strong. But they are cheap.

We want to be more complete then our competitors. For instance, there will be a poker BUZZ section. There will be a forum. A shop. Pokerarticles. POKER pro’s that give tips.

Targeted Message:
online poker career boost.

Deadline:
July 1

Questions? Shoot

p.s the winner will become our first pick for future design projects.

Thank you for you submission BlueCherryGraphics. I like it. But it's a bit too plain.

You can improve it by making the font look stronger and make the pokerchip a bit more catchy and more 3D. You may play with some gradients, or make the contrast between the two colors stronger.

We are looking for something that stands out.

Some things that may be included in the logo on top of the text:

- A pokerchip

- A Clubs

- Sunglasses

- A crown

- coins

- A diamond

Also, You may play with different background colors since we have not come to conslusion yet in what background color we will use.

It would also we great if you could show your logo in different color combo's. Like one in white, one with some subtile reflection, and one with a subtile gradient.

If there is anything that is still confusing please name it ,so we can explain our business in more detail.

We would like to see you change the logo as such:

The crown needs to go. You may place a smaller crown on the card deck instead with the color silver. Next to that we think a nice touch would be if you could get the 'S' a little bit out of position. Move it a bit to the front and turn it a a bit to the right or the left. A subtile reflection on the logo might do the logo good as well.

pracus,

thank you for your submission. It looks nice and clean. But that's not what we are going for afterall. We want our logo to be big with some catchy aspects.

leave the reflection :) and get it back to the original size.

The $ is nicely found. But the position somehow doesn't look right. Could you play with it some more.

Some things you could do with the $:

- Get it on a pokerchips standard.

- give it some highlight. Like you did on the getawaysaver.com logo ;)

anyway, give it something catchy.

bluecherrygraphics,

you put a realy nice gold looking gradient on the logo. But we want to stay away from gold. The font doesnt look right for our business. thanks for your submission :).

We will let the contest run untill 1 july. Because we think it wouldn't be fair to other designer who might have been working on a concept already, to reveal a winner in advance. But you're logo suits our business pretty good.

When we pick you as a winner we will work from there. Only a small adjustment needs to be made :)
