Thank you for your posts. I am so excited to see your wonderful ideas! Here are my thoughts so far.
(I am new to this so please feel free to let me know if I am not leaving you the type of feedback that you need.)

Medigraph: Great start! The logo is very appealing.
Unfortunately, most of my competitors logos are similiar in design with the circular appearance.
I am looking for something more angular and sharp if that makes any sense.

Kekepania: Great design as well!
Although I like the look of the logo, I would like to stay away from the traditional leaf or grass etc.

To all: If it helps, I picked the name All Terrain because I wanted to convey to my customers that I can service any type of grounds.
I would like my logo to reflect this somehow. The only image I have seen so far that seems to fit would be a compass rose.
However, I am open to any other images you may think are appropriate as well.

To all designers: Thank you all for submitting your designs and the for the time that you spent on them, especially during this 4th of July holiday!
All of these logos are great designs. They are all so different and well executed!

After seeing Taldo's design, I am leaning more towards the idea of a compass rose.
Is it possible for all of the designers who have posted so far to submit his/her version of a compass rose logo also?
I would like to see the logo to the left of the company name. Also it would be great to have some type of line separating All Terrain from lawn service.
I like that most designers are making the lawn service a smaller font.
As far as font goes, I would like to have something with more sharp points in the letters to correlate with the compass rose.

If it helps, I will include a couple of images of compass roses that I like. I look forward to seeing more of your creative designs.

Once again thank you all for your submissions and time. I was pleasantly surprised to receive so many of them. It defintley has made this process a little harder with such an array to choose from :D
I am trying to make a decision now. I have narrowed it down to two so far, Taldo & Eziey.

Could both of you please show me some font and color variations. I like blues, greens, reds and oranges. Also, eziey can you please make the logo and text a little bigger (makes it easier for me to see the details).

Well, I can't stress enough how happy and surprised I am with all the great looking logos submitted for my contest.
Each and every one is unique and shows talent.
Thank you!

I am leaving town in a few hours and will return late Sunday (July 9th) so I don't want to rush my decision.
Therefore, I want to extend the deadline to July 10th.

An important deciding factor for me is the black & white logo.
If any of you have time this weekend I would like to play around with the compass rose by maybe seeing how it would look to add the small N,S,E,W to the main points of the logo, or perhaps only an 'N'. Just curious as to how it would change the appearance (don't want to make it too 'busy', I like simple and clean).
Also would like to see 'lawn service' spread out the length of 'All Terrain'.
Not sure how this will look or if it will dominate the main name if spread out.

I really like the font eziey chose to use in message #27 v.2.4
I also like the font Taldo used in message #29 v.3C
Similar yet different.
I love what you both have done so far btw.

As for colors go, I'm still undecided. So many to choose from.
I do like the idea of only 2 colors used throughout.

I am excited about nearing completion of this project as it's already more than I expected.
I'm still open to designs yet to be submitted.

Look forward to choosing a winner Monday.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
I'm also adding a little money to the current prize to express my gratitude. (hey not that much, I'm still poor until my logo gains me new business) :D

Thank you all for your wonderful submissions. This experience has been great!
I am definetly recommending this website to all I know who could benefit from it.
After much careful consideration (and feedback from friends and family) I have decided to go with eziey's version 3 in message #35.

To eziey: I am ready to move to revisions. :D

Thank you Paula23!

And thanks again eziey for the great logo design!

Really the only revisions we want are logo colors, which we are trying to figure out what colors we would like to see.

I like the greens alot but I am still curious of how other colors would look in this design before we decide.

Is this something that I could revise myself given the right format?

eziey
07-12-2006, 05:47 AM
for the final file, i'll give the logo in three format. they're eps, jpg and psd format.you can change any color you want in the eps format, which can be used in coreldraw and illustrator.:)let me know what to do next:):)

AllTerrain

Ok great!
I'm sure that you know what formats are mostly accepted for truck lettering, business cards, shirts, etc.

Would it be possible to get a file with just the logo seperate from the name also?

What is the font used in the final version?

Thanks again eziey, guess I am ready for files!
