Hello,
Just a few questions to help us come up the perfect logo:
Will this logo be printed on business stationary, trucks, and clothing and will it also be for the web?
Are you looking for a descriptive logo (using visual imagery) or just type?
Are there any particular colours you had in mind?
Is there a deadline?
Hope you can answer.
Michael

The logo will be used for t-shirts, polos and sweatshirts of different colors and letterhead, possibly also on the trucks.
We would like to see a design of some type included with the name of the company.
Colors and fonts we are open to.
Deadline is August 1st.
Thanks!

Thanks for your designs Julie.
We really like the leaf 1 and 2 design, however we don't like the leaf. Can you can take that same font and format and use maybe a pine tree, grass, etc throughout the company name? Thanks!

Christian:
We like the one with the least amount of grass on each side of the company name. Can you take that one and do something more than grass. We like the idea of the pine tree but are looking for a more "natural" look than the one you used. Thanks for your ideas!!

Here are a couple for your consideration

Julie,
Thanks for your idea. We like it a lot minus the picture. Can you try something smaller, less bold and leave the company name the same?? We really like the green line under the company name but are looking for a picture less "cartoonish" if that makes sense to you. :)

elkootcho,
Thanks for your response. We are trying to get something a little different than the typical lawn companies have. We like the design you used on the first one but again, prefer something with less green. Maybe tans, golds...We saw the one you did for the outdoor man that was more symmetrical. Just wanted to give you an idea of what were leaning toward. Thanks again.

Thank you all for your great ideas so far.
Christian: The 2 new designs you sent last night are not showing so we can't view them. Can you please post them again??
Julie: You are on the right track, Couple things: On your 2nd new design can you change the underline to dark green and can you play with the company name colors? try gold, brown, tans... even could break up colors like Suburban could be one and Outdoor another color. The picture of the pine and needles is nice but can you try something behind the company name (like a shadow design?? were thinking like a grassy knoll sort of shadow or picture where you had the pine cone. Even something as far as a half outline of a pine tree or abstract. We love the company name format so don't change that! Thanks!!

Gilles Le Bon:
WOW!! We really like this! The only changes we would like are a darker outline around the company name, a few less buildings in the background (more of a suburban city than urban) and can you make the colors a little darker, less pastel??? THANKS!!!!

Hey there! Here's one more. It isn't vectored yet, so the tree looks a bit rough, but if you like it, when vectored, it will look smooth.

No problem! I can make all the changes you want. You'll have them very soon. Thanks for the details, you really make my work easy telling me exactly what you desire.
Keep in touch,
Gilles. :)

Christian:
How's it going??
Ok, let's try this. Take #2 and do it in bold lowercase and try putting a "shadow" look of grass behind the company name. Try using maybe blue for SUBURBAN. We love how many ideas you are giving us!! Let us know if we are at all confusing you, we are not trying to! We are just looking for the "right" look and need to decide on what we want by Aug. 1st.
Thanks again!

;) Hey there! Here are a few variations. Again, the grass may look a bit rough but it'll be smooth in final vector format.

By the way...of the last set that I posted, one is a one-color graphic and the other is a two-color. That will reduce your printing cost when it comes to printing all the items you've mentioned.
