Medigraph: That's cool looking but really not what I'm looking for. Also, I do not really want the 2006 in the logo.

Ruairi: I kinda like that. Try changing it around some to let me see.

Senter: That's nice, but I want my logo more lawncare and landscape looking.

I'll be on the net off and on tonight checking back. Thanks.

Ruairi: I like the grass concept, try arching Sunrise around the sun and let me see what that might look like.

Senter: For some reason the small circle isn't working for me.

I was thinking earlier and talking with my wife and came up with this.

How about something with a tree in the middle with the sun rising behind it and trees or something in the background. Just a thought

Vertlime thanks for joining in. I like the half sunrise with the tree, but let me see it without the white spacing in the sun. And if anything else you think of, post it, I'm up for options.

Ruairi: I like the version 07, could you make it a half sun and bigger with a tree in the center with the tip of the half sun higher than the tree.

Senter: That kind of logo isn't what I'm looking for. Sorry

Also designers remember this is going on a 8ft by 16ft enclosed trailer and I'm looking for something professional and something that will be eyecatching.

Thanks Waterboy

Thanks Vertlime, I liked the look of version 3. We are getting close to what I'm looking for.

Now go ahead and laugh but I was playing with paint on my computer and something simular on what I was looking for. I'll try and post it (maybe it isn't against the rules)

Vertlime, see what you can do with this example. If I can get it on here.

Also, to the designers, it will be going on a trailer something like this if it helps.

Well, I'm going to get some rest, I'll check back in the morning.

Here is something involving the sunrise behind a tree.

Vertlime: That's close to what I may be looking for.

Joshuamings: I just don't think that type of logo would look good stretched on the side of a trailer.

Thanks, still open for options.

Waterboy

Also, I came up with this also. What you think Vertlime?

joshuamings
07-07-2006, 08:17 AM
It is not meant to be stretched. If you would like, I can try a version with the wordmark all one line, to increase the width of the logo.

joshuamings
07-07-2006, 08:27 AM
Here it is with a horizontally oriented wordmark.

Okay, Sorry had to go to work today :weep:

Vertlime: Could you put sunrise arched around the top of the sun and outdoor services where sunrise is?

Eziey: Could you put the sunrise arched around the sun and outdoor services where sunrise is now, and try to make it a little longer or wider.

Will be checking in off and on tonight.

Vertlime: I like the look of that, but my wife says it needs to be more realistic  Still waiting to see if the others might respond or they may have lost interest. Been trying to picture what it'd look like on a trailer also. If you have any other ideas, just let me know.

Thanks, Jason

Eziey: I like that look, could you put it on the side of a trailer like I'll post so I can see what it would look like. The square is where the logo will go.

Vertlime: I like that also, could you make outdoor services longer so it sticks out more and bigger.

But I'm gonna see what Vertlime might come up with also.

Senter: There is just something about the sun that doesn't look right to me.

Medigraph: That looks nice, but it's not what I'm looking for.

There is some more days to see if someone else might come up with something.

Joshuamings: That isn't what I'm really looking for.

Fabian: That isn't what I'm really looking for.

Vertlime: I like the sunrise being arched over the sun, also like the tree better, but I would like outdoor services under the logo and in one line. Also, I will be putting my phone number between the logo and the fenderwells

Vertlime: I like that, but there is one thing, it looks like the size of the logo overpowers outdoor services. Could you make outdoor services larger and longer, even if you have to cut the logo off above the outdoor services.

Eziey and Vertlime: Thanks for putting it on a trailer, gives me more of the understanding of what it'll look like.

Vertlime: I like Version10. Gonna be a hard decision.

Eziey: I like your Version 2 also.

Well, I'm going to think about this for a day or two and I'll let you two know.

One other question though. For the one I decide on, how do I get it? Email or CD, was wondering on that. My Hateway is on it's last leg, I'd hate to lose it.

I thought I would give you one more version before you decide. a simple easily repoduceable file for multiple formats. Also will save you on printing costs being 2 color.

Usually the files are delivered via a download link that is sent to you. This is the fastest way. A CD can be sent as well, you are the client, you decide. ;)

Ok, it was brought to my attention that my name and the logo's just doesn't make you think about lawncare and landscaping, ( I hope I don't make anyone upset or angry) :(

Vertlime: Hold on to that V10. Can you make something like a cartoon life image about lawncare, maybe with a lawnmower or something? Just to let the wifey see. You know something that a simple minded person would understand. I also may change my business name but that can be later. Just reach thru the moniter and slap me.

Eziey: Hold on to that V2. Now can you make something like a cartoon life image about lawncare, maybe with a lawnmower or something? Just to let the wifey see. Vertlime: If you would go back to version 10 and change outdoor services to Lawncare service and also one that says Lawncare & Landscaping. I really don't want to go back and have to start all over with a logo and you all probably wouldn't either.

Opinions welcome.
