I am a small photography studio that specializes in wedding, maternity, newborns, nudes and seniors. We photograph almost everything children, families. But our main focus in on weddings and pregnant women. I consider myself very edgy and fun. But also a great deal caring when it comes to my clients. I want my logo to really pop and be different. I know I don't what the traditional initals and my name. I'm looking for something more creative. That's why I'm Here!! I have no preference of color but, my favorites are pink, blue, chocolate and black. But, use any color, i'm not that picky. I am named Shannon Long Photography but, if someone comes up with something great I can change to studios, imaging, etc.
My studio is on a farm, (my family are grain farmers, and some cattle) but, my personal style is very urban. My photography really shows my contradiction in everything I think and do. One day I'm photographing a 2 week old newborn, a rocked out senior boy that has his own band. The next I'm photographing a Catholic Wedding with a full mass. I'm adaptable so I want my logo to be as well. If you need any further info please contact me!!

I want to photograph life as it happens, not posed, not propped, not fake. I want to photograph the real person without stuff and backgrounds to cloud your vision of who they really are. I want them to view their photographs and say oh my goodness you captured me, us, my son/daughter...

Think of something fluid like water, that's what I'm after. I want people to look at it and feel calm. Maybe try something without the tag line.

I am starting to really get excited with the work you guys are doing!!! Thank you so much!!
I will start out by saying I think we are heading in the right direction.
djaka-I'm not real crazy about the first version because the type is to computerized. Much too stale for the type of photography I do. (I take pix of woman giving birth!) maternity newborns, weddings!!
Your 2nd version is okay but, I'm not wanting the my intials and my company name. It is way over done. I can do it if it's just way cool. But, I'm not crazy about it.
But, I want to say thank you so much and I can't wait to see your next try!!!

Redlizard-I really like this new version!! So much closer to what I'm looking for. I'm not sure about the coloring around the name in the color version.

Medigraph- I really like the angle and way the eye is drawn, but I really don't know if that's right for me. the top font I really like with that artwork.

I also wanted to give you guys some more info.
I've been looking through the site and found these logos that I really like.

djaka-I don't like the font and I'm not sure what kind of artwork you have with it. Try something softer,script-like with the font.
nfrack-I'm sorry but, I don't like anything about this one. Please look over the other logos I like and try from that. The one for Laura Eaton and Metropolitian Gallery of Photography are two of my favorites right now.
Redlizard-I defanitely like with with out the coloring behind it. But, I'm not sure if that is it just yet. I love the look but, not really sure if it will work for my seniors, for all my female portraits it really speaks to me. May I see one more design maybe geared toward all my clients not just the women.

I really like this one. I really like the font. I think that the artwork is definately the right idea, just not the right one. Those roses remind me of cinnamon rolls (Yummm!) try a branch, daisies, or some other type of leaf or flower. But please no roses.
I really think you are on to something here!!!!

Wow That was quick!! I like it better than the roses but, it still feels like it's missing something or lacking something. With the Laura eaton design it just all fits together and I think that's what I'm not feeling in this one. But I definately think you're on the right track.
Sorry, I'm a very emotional photographer and everything I do comes from my heart and I want my logo to get that across to my clients!!

I figured out what was throwing me off. The branch has only one leaf, it's dying. Try to look for something that is more from spring-rebirth, new, fresh.
