logo for forums site

Hi,

I need to get a logo for a friend and his Irish Military forums site. The site is http://www.irishmilitary.com and is mainly used by people in the Irish Reserve Defence Forces.

Its just a community site and doesn't make any money nor is it an official site.

He's looking for a military looking logo on a black background so I thought I would post it on here to see if anyone has any free time to come up with something interesting.

Nope, its not the IRA! :)

its a site by members of the Irish RDF = Reserve Defence Forces (which I am a member of) Sort of like the US National Guard.

I have saw so much excellent work on this site I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone here would submit something.
