View Full Version : Jeans By Reem logo - $125
(Admin code added by Palmer - 23971Y)
The horse that is supplied has already been copyrighted so please use it as a reference only. I want a horse like this (an Arabian to be precise) running. I want a frontal perspective-I think. Notice that at the feet of the horse there are lines of dust. I would like the dust to continue upwards and form my name in arabic. The other image supplied is my name in arabic written in small to see the actual shape and large which is the way I would like it to appear in the background of the horse. Underneath the picture I would it to read JeansByReem.com using a persian/arabian nights style font. As far as colors choose whatever colors you want. You can make monochramatic or colorful. You can also implement any cool ideas you come up with; I am an artirst as well so I want you to do that thing you do. If the photos are attatched yet, they will be soon. My email address is Reemvirgo@hotmail.com if you have any questions or suggestions. Thank you very much for you consideration- Have fun!

Hello,
Is there a picture missing? The one with the horse? All I can see on my browser is just the name in arabic...
Gilles.

I'm with 2-square.
I thought it looked like a horse, too.
I can't read Arabic, so I hope my design isn't being disrespectful.
Please advise.

Hi Reem,
I'll try something later but it may differ a bit from what you're looking for...,

It's still not in the right position?
Just_G

In arabic... You read from right to the left.
On that position you read from left to right like usual alphabetic, now you read like this :

Ok, I replaced that old image with a new one. Can you check it to see if it's right? It's on page 1.
Thanks :)

Hello,
Here is a temporary logo idea until Palmer gets your name/image sorted out. When he does, I'll add it into the background of this image.
Let me know what you think. :)

This is where we stand. The name in Arabic is positioned correctly now. I am waiting for Reem to send me a picture of the horse and I'll upload that as soon as it arrives. :)

Hi guys,...
I like your posts very much... Here's a little try (to join the group)
Hyp!
i know i owe you guys a horse and i will get it for you soon; however you can research a horse using the descripion i used in the original guidlines. an artist has already used a horse and it is a great start. the only thing is that the drawing looks too amatur. plus the horse looks young. i want an adult horse with flared nostrils.thanks-Reem
 hypnosis: my name is upside down and it has two dots. Sorry about the confusion. it looks awesome so far.
EveryoneI have been thinking about turing the horse into a unicorn. Can everyone just try it either on designs you have already created or new one just so I can decide? Thanks-Reem
:D Sparkie:
that is such an innovative way to use the arabic alphabet. i am intrigued, it could use a touch of refinement or more of a flowy feel, like maybe connecting the letters and seperating the words a little more. also i do not like the horse your using. i want be able to see details in the horse body and also have just decided that i would like to see examples of unicorns. but not those fairy kind. almost like an arabian horse with a horn. Thanks so much!-Reem
Just G:
i think the way you wrote my name backwards it clever, but probably too clever for the american public. i don't want them calling me meer instead of reem. what do you think?-Reem

Hi Reem,
Thank you for the compliment :) Do you have an example (maybe online somewhere?) of the type of horse figure you're looking for? I know you mentioned a full-body pose, but how much detail do you want for it? :)
Thanks!

Here is the horse Reem spoke of...
This is for everyone!
I don't want my logo to look like an equestrian facility or horse vet, or horse gear. so i was thinking of putting a unicorn's horn on the head to make look a little more fashionable. if your horse dosn't have lots of flowing hair like just G or christina then please add more mane and/or tail. thank you very much i am almost there-Reem :D Plus the horse i was refering to in my first post ever is now available-but some of you guys don't even need it anymore i know-but use it still as a guide.

Reem is having a lot of trouble reading the small font in the posts. If you all could make the font size 4 it will help him a lot.
Thanks :)

Here's my updated logo with your name and the new image. I also made the Arabic-like letters more connected.

Just G:
I really like your idea. There are a few things that I would like for you to review and perhaps redesign. the dust in between the horse and the arabic name is too detracting from my name. maybe you could get rid of it. Next the new font is much more clear, but I loved the older style. Is it possible that you could merge the two styles. Take a little flare form the old style and add it the new style. Plus I would like capital letters on the J in jeans, the B in by, and the R in reem. Plus my name in arabic should not be as big as the the horse. It could be smaller and less discreet resemble the dust. Then you could center the horse above the domain name. That's it. and I'm pretty sure I'd be done.-Reem
Hypnosis,
I am thinking about having a second place winner who would win 50 bucks. I like how your option one has turned out except that it's only one color. This is a ladies line so maybe you could add some fun colors. Plus i also really liked your option 2 from the second page, but i didn't like the horse you chose. When you use my arabic name don't make it so big, instead have it look like someone who signed a painting small and in the corner so to speak.Hope you like this idea. -Reem

Thank you ;)
Just G looks a lot better. The colors used for the horse and the lettering could be more feminine. I like the colors Wiseguy uses. Plus i like the way he set the elements up. I also would like you to make the horses belly not so bloated looking. ANd is it possible to make the horse turn so it's facing more toward us more like frontal. And i like the white glare or reflection that Wiseguy used on the letter. Thanks alot-Reem
Wiseguy I love you design but the horse has already been copyrighted- can you use another horse?-Reem :D
HypnosisI love everything except the j in jeans and the R in reem. Is it possible that the image could look a little less jeuvinille? if not okay-Reem :)

I'm glad you are liking what I've done so far.
Here are some examples of different horses. I really liked the one you provided, but I tried to use examples of horses that showed beauty, strength, and passion. I also chose a variety of illustration styles as well, with each one conveying those feelings, but in their own unique way.
Let me know what you think.
Sorry it's so big everybody....

Another idea for your consideration.
Wiseguy, Thanks for coming up with all those extra horses. If you could come up with a few more I would appreciate it. Please keep in mind the kind of horse I am looking for. And you might want to play with different color duos. Thanks-Reem

Hiya :)
I spent most of my childhood around horses - and they were my favourite subject to paint in Art classes :) So I've hand drawn a horse sillouette in Illustrator - using your arabic symbol of course :)
Please let me know if you would like me to try anything else with these designs :)

Hi Reem,
I'm actually on vacation at the moment, but I will try and get that change done for you whilst I'm here... I brought all my working files on a CD just in case :) Might be a couple of days though...
Thanks
All you gotta work on is the last example. That's the one I really like.-Thanks-Reem

I am sooo sorry for the delay - Im not normally this slow - whilst on holiday I got a call from one of my friends whos mum was taken seriously ill, and sadly she passed away suddenly 2 weeks later...
Im back home now, and Ive made that change for you...I really hope you like it :)

Here's a few samples... I went a little different route on the horse, mainly sillouettes. Just to see if it's something you like.

Kelly B, Thanks for changing the mouth on the horse for me. I also really love the font you did.
Visual Sense, I love the first example you did. Instead of the spaures in the background, could you put the sillouette of the country Bahrain? It is located in the Persian Gulf. That would be awsome! Thnx.-Reem :D
