My wife is a 1st grade teacher for a small school and she needs help in creating a punch card that would help reinforce good behavior in class.

She starts in 2 weeks, so she needs the design done by Monday August 4th.

It needs to be an image that would fit in a standard 3x5 card. And would need to just be in black and white for printing purposes.

Here's the theme, her class's theme is Bugs so she would like the punch card to read:

Good
"Bee"havior
Card

and include a blank line with the word "Name" underneath it so the kids can write their name.

and it needs to have pre-numbered "Holes" 1 through 25. And maybe have some pictures of bees and stuff. It basically needs to be something visually "cool" for a first grader to carry around.

Any help would "bee" greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I don't have any children, and it's been a long time since I was a first-grader ;) ,
so I'm not sure if this would be "cool" or "baby-ish".
But I'll post it anyways...

Please advise.

That looks good! Would you be able to make it horizontal? Or does it fit best veritcal?

When I started designing it, I started Horizontal, then switched before I actually got rollin'.
I think it fits best vertically, but if you'd like a horizontal layout, I'll re-work it for you.

It's a great design...

Is anyone else interested in showing their design? We'd love to see a variety...

Hi Wayne,
Here's a horizontal layout.

Cre8tor,

Let's go with that first one you made... the vertical one! What formats can you send it in?

My email address by the way is wayne@communityofhope.org

Thanks again!

I'm assuming you'll "bee" printing these yourself? On a desk-top printer?
If that assumption is correct, what software will you be using to print it.
(That tidbit of info will help me determine how to send the file.
Oh, and another thing...
Are you going to be printing them on actual 4" x 5" index cards, or
are you going to be printing them all on a standard 8.5" x 11" sheet
and cutting them down?

Please advise.
I'll be able to send the file(s) later this evening when I get home.
Thank you, and I'm sorry there wasn't more interest.
Kimber.

Cre8tor,

I think we're going to just print it out on card stock and cut it ourselves... I don't know of an actual program to use on the computer to help us make 4 x 6 cards... if you do please let us know.

Thanks for your help!

Cre8tor,

When do you think we might be able to get that punch card? My wife starts school in 3 days...
