Hi Julie,
Thanks for the submission.
Not what I'm looking for. I don't like the butterfly or the text.
Too plain
Also, I did not mention this in my first post but I HATE the Sublime Time text that's on my site right now.

This is better.
I like the layout and the fact that there'e a logo with the text. Colors are ok.
I don't like the text. I think it could show motion or more curves, shadows? Not so blocky.
The graphic is cool but looks too much like a flower.
No offense to anyone but butterflies and flowers are a no go.
I hope this makes sense.

So what do you like in a logo? Do you want something more professional looking? More fun looking? More the tech look? Thanks.

Gilles,
That's what I'm talking about! I like the first one a lot.
I don't think I like the gray oval behind it though. this is going in the header of my web site and it has a dark blue background. don't quite know how that will look with the gray background.
 good job. the first one is in the right direction.
The main purpose of this logo is for the header of my web site so it has to look good with the dark blue background.

Scott,
I'll remove the grey oval for you. I'll post the logo without it soon, and I'll think of something else in the meantime. Scott, if the logo will have only 65 pixel in height, it'll be a little smaller. Can you think of something in that direction? I'll try to check how the logo will fit on your website.
Best regards,
Gilles.

Hi Gilles,
The logo could be 65-75 pixels in height I guess. I would prefer that it only be 70 pixels in height at maximum.
I don't quite understand the statement "Can you think of something in that direction?"
Did you mean a design that will be smaller in height? If that's what you meant, maybe have the logo and text be wider like this:
[logo graphic] Sublime Time
Don't wrap the text under. Also, I don't think I want the .com part in the text. Please leave that out.
Hope this helps. Thanks! :)

Scott,
Thanks for the details. I meant if you can have a solution to fill the empty space, and you gave that solution: add the text after the logo. That is what I wanted from you. Sorry for being unclear..I'll leave the .com part out. I'll go back to work now,
Have a nice day, and thanks for the quick answer.

Hi Gilles,
First, I want to say that pending modifications of the logo, you are the winner.
After some thought and some other opinions, I like the logo with the gray behind it now.
A couple of things:
The swoosh that goes above right and out of the gray oval needs to be the same height somehow
The logo has to fit height wise the same as the star below. It can't go into the top where the shipping message is.
Please try changing the swoosh that goes out of the gray oval. I still do not want the .com.
Also, can the gray oval have smooth edges with a shadow maybe?
I really hope this makes sense! :o
