Hello everyone!!! I am yet another Pet Sitter wanting a Logo!
The name of my business is Latch Key Pets. I'm a very small business, I thought it would be a good idea to have a logo.
I am open to basically anything. I would lean more towards cutsie. But like I said open to anything. I thought maybe you could incorporate a key into it some how because of my name. The types of pets I take care of are mostly just dogs and cats, so those can be in the logo. The Logo should include Latch Key Pets
Pet Sitting and Dog Walking
Thanks,
I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with.
-Danielle
P.S. I don't really have a deadline, but I'll say August 8th.

I forgot to mention above about the type of dog I would like. I have always had rescued dogs, so maybe just a mutt type of dog. If that makes sense. ;) Or if its going to be a breed, maybe a beagle, I have one now(from the shelter of course) :)
Here are 2 links to my website. My Shep. mix recently went up to Doggie Heaven. So if at all possible maybe a cartoon dog that looks like her.

Here's your first latch key pet! Feedback is welcomed :)
Julie
PS...while I was getting this ready to post, you posted your request that it look like Jessie. I haven't had a chance to check her out, sorry!

Thanks for your Post Julie!
It's very cute, I love how he's in the play bow pose. But I'm looking for at least a dog & cat.
I don't think I metioned earlier, but I will be using this logo on my website, and business cards that I print out myself.
So I don't know how yours would fit on a business card.
But Thanks so much, were off to a Great Start!!

Hey there! Sorry about your dog, I'm going to try to do a good job of protraying him nicely for the logo! Here's the setup. The animals are not the final versions, they're just placeholders. =) I'm going to keep working on it but first need to know if you like the fonts, word setup, key on collar/"p".

Hi Christian,
Thanks for your post. It looks like it would be cute when finished, but I don't really like the setup. And the key "p" doesn't look right. It was a very good idea though.
Thanks Again
Danielle :D

Thanks Kimber, that is just TOO Cute! It made me smile when I looked at it. :D
I would just like to see a couple of changes if you don't mind. I don't really like the font for "Latch Key Pets" and Latch Key is 2 seperate words. Maybe a font more like the bottom font.
I also like the font you used for this design,
http://www.designoutpost.com/gallery/detai...hp?image_id=322 (http://www.designoutpost.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=322)
"Professional Pet Sitting" I don't know how that would look though.
Could you mabye make the dogs teeth a little smaller, I'm scared it may look like he's growling. Maybe more of a smile if that makes sense. ;) I love the cat! Could i also see a bird on the end of the key, the right side, or where ever you think.
Thanks So MUCH!!!

Hi Danielle,
Here's a revision to my entry...as you can see, it could fit very well on a business card. If you'd like to take it a different direction, let me know.
Thanks,
Julie

Hi Danielle,
Here's a revised version.
I think I've covered everything you had asked for.
I also changed it around a little where printing cost is concerned.
It now only uses 3 colours, and tints of those colours.
(This would have to be altered slightly for things like vinyl lettering
and screenprinting, but as far as offset printing for letterhead,
business cards or envelopes, it's just 3-colours.)
With the dog, I "pulled" his canines -- I think that's what was making him look growly.
The cat has changed a little as well -- to add some variety.
Please advise.
Kimber.

Thanks for your new designs Kimber & Julie, I love them!
I just want to make sure nobody else has any designs for me before I make my final decision. ;)
Thanks

I decided to let the dog wear the keys as a collar :)

Hi Everyone Thanks for the designs.
I decided to go with Kimber's 2nd Design! With just a few changes.
I would like the orange/white cat, gray dog that is already on the 2nd one. But can you put his canine teeth back in, and get rid of the bird. And I'm still not feeling the font, so I fooled around with it a bit and used a font called Enviro. Do you have this one? If you do can i have that font, but if possible can you fix the "W" to look like a normal W. ;)
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUCH A CUTE DESIGN! :D
-Danielle
PS There is a little bit of white near the dogs left ear, do you think you can just blend some of the yellow in. Sorry to be such a pain. :lol2:
