Jennifer, nice start. We like the font thickness change and the square document icon is interesting. For now, I think we'd still like to see something a bit more "backpackesque" though.

We like what we're seeing here.
Jennifer - We like the version 2 design better than 1 iconically and color-wise, but we're leaning toward something closer to the text in version 1.
Yusef - These are similar to the ideas I bounced around in my head (and much less skillfully on paper) -- especially version 1, but neither of them are jumping out at me, yet.
All of these designs are interesting. We're looking forward to seeing how these progress.

Thanks everyone. We like what we're seeing here. It's really great to see how others see the stuff I don't have the ability to pull out of my head.
Senter v1 - while looking for simple, we're not sure we want the balloon text. Also maybe a bit cartoony. Perhaps a bit too casual.
Jennifer v3 - We like this better than v2. Not sure about the actual backpack contents. We like it, but we'd like to see other options if possible.
Ratbaggy v1 - This one doesn't really work for us. We'd rather not have any backwards characters.
NHR v1 - The logo while showing sharing doesn't really convey the "packet" or "backpack" thing. The italicized text isn't simple enough for this idea either.
Thanks everyone. There is more than a week left until we make our decision, keep the ideas coming. There will likely be more work on this theme moving forward.

We'd like to see more along this theme (as well as others!). Can we see something perhaps a bit simpler, less cartoonish? Maybe a bit more geometrical or abstract in its backpack/packet-esque-ness... if that makes any sense.
Thanks for this and your work so far.

Thanks for the submissions people!
djaka v1 - This is an interesting idea that I'd like to see taken a bit further. Maybe notes or packets of notes could be worked 'in' to the backpack without it getting too busy? Not sure.
NHR v2 - We really like this one. Simple, elegant. We'd like to see more along this line.
Medigraph v4 - This is also getting closer. Simple is good.
We're really getting excited about these ideas people. A couple things to consider moving forward. The idea of the "packet" of papers hasn't been fully explored yet. Also, things have been changing a bit on our front and we're looking at possibly creating a marketplace/repository for these notes or packets of notes. If there is a way to work something along those lines in without it getting too busy, we'd love to see what you can come up with.
This is just the first step of a pretty big project. There will likely be icon design and other projects tacked on to this that we'll want to have consistent style.
Thanks again and keep them coming!

It's been four days since I've heard from anyone and (being both new, and a bit paranoid) am wondering if I'm doing something improperly or if I've not given enough information.
Please let me know either way.
Also, please let me know if you've not submitted a design and still plan on doing so.
Thanks! Like I've said, we like what we've seen so far.

Thanks for giving us a look with all caps, I think we like the idea of the lowercase though. It's easier to read. Also, we're not too hip on a logo with a "swoosh" in it.
Thanks though and we look forward to seeing more.

Really, not a whole lot I'd change on this design. I'd like to see one with the weight of the word flip-flopped though - emphasize the "packets" part.
Thanks!

Maybe it's the slight gap there now, but it's not working as well as the first one I think. Strange. Anyway, I think they should be a bit closer.
Thanks!

We're really getting some good stuff to look at.
djaka 1b - Simple and the addition of the document helps. It doesn't feel "backpacky" enough for us though.
djaka 2 - We like this one best of the three you've submitted. We kind of like the font, but condensed so much makes it a bit difficult to read. Maybe something simpler with the text?
Medigraph 5 - This one isn't working. We've returned to your v3. We like it the best of your submissions I think. If you could move the turned-down page corner to the left possibly and let us see a couple of other color variations we'd appreciate it.
Thanks everyone!

We've got some really good ones going (it's going to be tough to make a decision), and we're hoping it'll be even more difficult in a couple days.
If you're stuck, we've yet to see any with the "backpackets" text worked into the logo in any meaningful way. Not sure if we want to go that way or not. I guess if we see any we'll know!
Once again, We can't thank you all enough for the hard work on this. It's going to be a big deal and there will be other branding and site assets that we'll be needing moving forward.

We like this one. Thanks for the quick turnaround on the text. One more thing (in the next day or so if you get a chance), we'd like to see a couple of other color combinations to judge with. The complimentary colors are good, but maybe one or two different sets of contrasting colors to judge against?
Thanks again. This one has progressed nicely.

We are quite happy with the options we have to choose from. We're closing this at noon US Central time tomorrow (8/3 - a little more than 18 hours from now) and choosing the design within a couple of hours after that.
If you're planning on getting a design in to be considered, please let us know.
Thanks again.

Castell v2 - Interesting design. We like it. It's the first one with any gradient to it. The concept is good. Wondering what it would look like if there was an arrow coming from the "head" and one going to the "head" (sort of a recycling theme) as they will be sharing and using others notes and packets.
djaka - Thanks for the colors, it's just nice to see how it "could" look.
Thanks a lot!

efoster 01/01b - Thanks for these. We're not sure they convey what we hope for the site and the text gets overpowered by the imagery. It's an interesting idea, however, it's just not going to work for this project.
Thanks! Keep 'em coming!

Thank you for your comments. Here is a very different idea, it represents a package into the letter "b" as seen in backpackects.

castel 3 - We're not too hip on the gradient "b" here. It doesn't really identify our business for us. The font also isn't one of my favorites.
castel 4 - We like the feel of this one. It's lost the "packetness" and "backpack-ness" however. It's a different approach to play against some of the others though. We are talking about recycling and reusing class notes here...
Hmm... interesting.
Thanks again!

This was our second time through the process and We'll definitely be back again.
Thank you all for your hard work. It was a tough decision. We've decided that NHR's design best suits our needs. We're thrilled!
Hey NHR, forward us a link to the 2.2 files please.
