Hi,

We're looking for a new branding as part of a new company concept we have. White Lace & Promises. A high end bridal portraiture company targetting mid-high end market.

The winners of the design will be automatically invited to create our in-house brochure and DVD case too.

Hopefully to keep the "White Lace" as white with no real other views as yet.

10.Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
It would be nice to have an identifiable logo that would be recognised across all branded items. I've attached a basic image of something we'd like to see in the logo (bridal dress outline). We like the idea of using what we call a "flairy" type of logo combined with the simplicity of say Century Gothic. We like the Dali font for the flair!
The & in white lace and promises we quite like in font type "Tall Paul"
Overall we are looking for new influence, a feel that will attract the female audience. Hopefully not too cold a colour used either, we want a warmth conveyed.


11. Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Highly Skilled - Warm and friendly to approach. To build a friendship with them and not be part another supplier.

12.What is your tagline or slogan?
”Photographic Artistry For The Modern Bride”

13.What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
That they should chose us because of the unique approach we adopt. All day coverage included, 3 person team, the overall uniqueness to the day.

14.Where will your new logo be used?
Web, all marketing materials.

15.Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
They are fairly simple, but nothing to over the top.

Thanks for your input so far. Let's give some feedback:

Jennifer Flows nicely, tend to loose the word Lace Can you try to incorporate the letters WLP (for white lace and promises) as part of the logo instead of the ring cushion. Also try some other colour design too.

Cindy Not getting this one at all. Try to steer away from wedding dress shop idea. We want to incorporate photography more without bringing camera images into the equation.

Pracus Can you too try to bring the letters WLP into the design as seems to be a style of yours. Can you bring more of a flowing font into part of it too. Also a colour change is needed.

Deanna To much of a wedding gown shop feel to this one. Not overly keen on the block idea eather.

Medigraph Can you look at this in more of a photographic angle. Too florally looking and colours not right.

To everyone, can you have a go at incorporating the letters WLP into the design. Also remembering the tagline "Photographic Artistry For The Modern Bride" into the overall logo.

Also can you make the & in font Tall Paul (i've tried to attached it here along with Tommy H font I requested) but can't.

Could you try the crest type logo of WLP set inplace of the &l please in V2.1 so we get 2 distinctive words of White Lace against Promises. Also could you try Capitalising the W the L and P too.

Friendly opinion:

Personaly, I dont like idea of script font with script symbol in same line. If you need script font somewhere, better solution is tag line, I think.

But, best solution is to leave it as is in 2.14 :D

What a tremendous task this has been for us to come to a shortlist of 4 ideas we liked. We have gone and done some market research on what attracts womens eyes to the idea we are trying to portray.

One thing that has struck us is the wedding market and the choice of colour that is generic to their marketplace.

We have short listed to 4 designers. Djaka, Titania, Pracus & NHR.

The last part for us now is to see the required design numbers we have chosen all in the same pantone colours we like from what we have seen. So here is the last request we will be asking of you all:

DJAKA V4 Can we see V4 using the main colour as pantone PMS 2655 with the tagline and middle colour of the heart in pantone PMS 248. Can you also put a thin line between White Lace & Promises and the tagline. Also the Tall Paul & symbol a little smaller. Can you also shrink the tagline in font size but keep it full width of the main body.

TITANIA V05 Can you simply change the pantone colours to PMS 2655 for the main logo text and PMS 248 for the tagline and bridal image.

PRACUS V05 No Change on this one on colour. Can you simply change the & to Tall Paul and make it smaller to fit in with the size of the main body of text.

NHR V2.14 & V2.17 For both designs, the main logo in Pantone PMS 2655 with the tagline and crest in Pantone PMS 248.
