Project Summary:
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
"Talent Financial" is our DBA

What type of product or service do you offer? We are a mortgage planning company that provides home loans for purchase, refinance, investment loans, commercial loans, etc. Our mission statment is "we educate and equip our clients to make the most informed decision possible, one that integrates into their personal financial plans and long term financial goals such as retirement and wealth accumulation."

visit colomortgagereports.com for more on us.

How long have you been in business? 11 years, but this is a new name for the company. New look.

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity? Sense of establishment, trust, integrity,

What are your long term goals? To be differnet type of mortgage broker company. People come to us because "our advice makes a difference". We consult with our clients, not just provide the best rate. We provide free consumer reports to help eductate them, which builds trust in us.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer? next 2 weeks. Aug 11

Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience: 1st time home buyers, current home owners for refiance or ready to move up, or those with home equity and they need to leverage it for investments.

Who would you like to add to your audience? CPAs, CFPs, attorneys, realtors for referrals. Also home owners with equity in their homes that is not being unused.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like? come up with some designs

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) be creative

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? none yet

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? stable, trustworth, integrty

What is your tagline or slogan? We have a couple that mayu need to be integrated into the logo. Meaning something about mortgages may need to be included.

1) "Our advice makes a difference"
2) "Mortgage Lending & Planning"
3) "Mortgages Made Easy"

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience? We are not your average mortage lender

Where will your new logo be used? website, busines cards, letterhead

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos? Many competitors logos are focused on rate shopping. Our model ios focused as "Mortgage Planners" not Mortgage Brokers only.

List competitive URLs if possible: www.destinylending.com, http://www.nc-mc.com/

What sets you apart from your competitors? We are mortgage planners, whihc means we provide a service of helping our clients plan their debt and how it effects their net worth and help achieve long term financial goals. Unlike mortgage brokers which just market best rates. We are marketing ourselves as "Consultants" more then brokers.

Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company: Not sure yet

Note: Talent has double meaning, look up at dictionary.com

Medigraph, Thank you for the submission. I like the boldness of the font. The graphic did not grab me. However, it did show "strength and stability" like a rock, but the home part was hard to discern. Keep the ideas flowing and submit any other ideas.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi BlueCherry,

Thanks for your submit. The logo is not grabbing me. Try a different logo but use the same font idea.

Thanks,
Matt

Blue is a good color to try on this logo, but reds and orange are action colors som might be worth trying something with that. Let see see more submits out there, please!

Medigraph, can we try something like for the tag line as "Home loans Made Easy" under TF? Do you have differenet logo ideas, maybe some ytpe of home look, or an alternative to the one you created? Just trying to get different ideas. THe current on emay seem out of proportion to the fonts.

Medigraph, I just figured out the first logo was the formed T&F, someone else pointed that out. Very creative. I do like the simplicity of the 2nd logo better however. And like the line seperateing the tag line. Let me continue to think on this....

Thanks,
Matt

Hallo, that was my inspiration:

What are your long term goals? To be differnet type of mortgage broker company. People come to us because "our advice makes a difference". We consult with our clients, not just provide the best rate. We provide free consumer reports to help eductate them, which builds trust in us.

Also, there are letters T&F.

The entries are all good, but I would like to offer some other ideas. Please go to the link below to see a page of other mortgage company logos. Many of these have good ideas to leverage into the above logos or complete new idea. Please provide more combinations or logo.

Gig, I like the V 3b #1 concept. The house seems a little out of proportion or with the grey ;line too thick in the B&W version. Maybe tweak some ideas on it.

Fabian,
I like the submit. Specifically the work on the fonts is good. However, the logo part ios not grabbing me. Can we get more of a "house" look or something?

Thanks,

NHR,

The 2 new submits aremuch better in the direction I want to go. Right now I do not have feedback, I want to think aboiut them fro a bit. If you have any more ideas go for it! On v3 make the top line bolder, like what youdid on v2.

Matt

Thanks for the new logo. Can you move the peaks over "finanical" on the right side? Make the tag line slightly bigger and spread out a bit more, it is hard to read.

Matt

Hi Matt,

Revised the design to uses a more defined logomark.

The first design was actually a roof (when looking at the shape as an whole) :)
