Ok, I need a logo to base everything on (website, slogans, overall image). This logo has to be PERFECT for our site.

We will be a new web hosting company, focusing on the reseller market. Our website name is (edited. The name comes from the (edited) monster, So we would like to base our little character on this also! (have a google if you dont understand what the loch ness monster is/looks like)

We're looking for a cute, happy and welcoming character. If we like what we see, we will keep you in mind for when we need the website done as the character will be incorporated all over the site.

Color ideas for the logo/character = purple/green/yellow ?

Logo consists of = character + text (Edited)

Dislikes = template look, clipart.

I guess i'm not really sure what else to say as I am not a designer or anything. But give it a go, and ask me questions so I can aid you all!

Titania, Great work! Can you perhaps try showing me the character in green instead of purple? And also try putting some teeth in there too?

And also, maybe samples with a deeper shade of color.

I really disliked the text, I've seen this style overused alot. Its not something I want in my logo. Do you think you can cook up some different ways of doing the text for me?

Overall, great work on the cartoon!


BlueCherryGraphics, It didn't manage to appeal to me somehow. I think I like the idea of a standing cartoon and drawn with more of a presence. Overall I can't see ourselves asking you to modify it to fit with what we want. So feel free to start from scratch if your interested!

Tatina, if you can maybe liven up the text a little? I don't think something as straight forward as that would cut it.

I also had an idea of putting a polo shirt on the toon, anyone willing to try? (with "NH" on it)

Looks good, hmmm I'm not too sure about the eye, looks off somehow. can you make some suggestions?

Also if you notice on the pdf I posted there was a picture for the body as well. any chance we can remove the bulges from the stomach and back. I'd like to see the lockness a little more.... graceful in the body.

Maybe make the stomach one long smooth curve from the neck to the leg with no extra curves, and have the shirt extend a little as if hanging over slightly?

Ok, I think we'll go back to this one.

I think you just need to take care of the hump on his back and round the bottom of the belly a little. I think the hump is very large and doesn't fit in that well. Try something, but keep the same shape and don't change anything drastically. I think I can safely announce you the winner if this alteration goes well!
