> Project Summary:
> What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
The name "Wildwood" is the main focus.

The information such as :

Owners: Michael and Diana Markham
4210 Bridge Street
Cambria, California
93428
805 924-0901

can be placed on the back of the card if it dilutes the impact of the logo

We will list about fifteen of the brand names that we carry, but they may be on the back also.

> What type of product or service do you offer?
Wildwood is an upper-end clothing store featuring fine leather goods. silk shirts. jewlery and hats and much more.
We carry a complete line for both men and women.

The store is furnished with custom made knotty pine cabinetry and shelves.

> How long have you been in business?
Ten years.

> What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Create an image of warmth and welcome.

> When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
We would like a three week deadline.
That would be Aug 14

> What type of logo would you like?
We are looking for a logo that will be distinctive, simple and display an overtone of gentle elegance.

> Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) No

Most of our customers receive a custom cast pewter token with each purchase.
They are encouraged to pass it on to someone else if opportunity arises.
Over the years we have heard the most wonderful stories about what happens when people give their token away.

Somewhere on the logo, we would like to incorporate a subtle heart-in-hand symbol that may be removed for packaging materials such as bags and boxes.

> The motels in Cambria rent for three hundrend a night in season so most of our customers are somewhat older and well healed.

They are savy buyers and are aware that most of what we sell is available on the internet.
To compensate for that, we encourage our staff to offer impeccable service with an overtone of gentleness.
Many customers return to our store just to visit with the staff.

> Where will your new logo be used?
Business cards, plastic and paper gift bags and boxes and adhesive stick-ons.

Most of our customers come to Cambria to relax and recuperate in the cool ocean breezes.
It is a gentle little village where they can remember what it was like when life was kinder.

Thank you in advance for your submissions.

Here is another idea.

Conceptually it represents a wild animals scratch as from claws, apart from this it gently creates the letter "W" as seen in Wildwood.
After completing the logo I figured it also possess the idea of three flying ties.

This one is very pleasing.

The upper part of the heart gives the impression of flight.

Could I see the "Wildwood" in the same script without the added art?

Thanks

Would it be possible to make the white area above the heart in # 5 more symmetrical as to indicate a bird in flight?

Thanks

I recieved them.

Do I need to do anything more so that you can receive your money?

If I find a printer to do my business cards on line, can I just cut and paste the link to them, and will that be all that they will need for the art work?

Thank you again.

It has been a great pleasure working with you.

Hi Michael,
I am processing your designers request for their payment so that is taken care of.

You have to download your files to your computer and make sure you burn them on to a CD just in case. When you find your printer then you can either upload what ever file they need or you can email it to them. If you have any other questions let me know at a.robinson@designoutpost.com .Thank you and take care.
