My latest web application is for a Risk Management company. The application will track and bill employees enrolled into their health insurance and voluntary life insurance plans.
The site will be www.CRIEnrollment.com (Chesterfield Resources Inc). Their logo is attached. I would like a design for the header of the page and the dropdown menu. After this project is completed, I'd like other objects (Grids, etc.) designed to match.
To give you an Idea, the menu will have these options (much more than this, but this will give us something to look at).
Enrollment
---- Voluntary Life
---- Health
---- Transfers
Reports
---- Blank Social Security Numbers
---- Employee Profile
---- Group Health Billing
---- Voluntary Life Billing
Administration
---- Health Coverages
---- Departments
---- Location Defaults
---- Voluntary Life Coverages
Attached is a screen shot of one of other my applications showing a dropdown menu, header, grid etc. I've also attached their logo that can be incorporated.

Heya, do you have a higer quality version of the logo?

I attached the only other logo I have (CHESTRP.BMP). That is the one the client gave me some time ago. The other one was colored by another graphics guy and wasn't approved or rejected by them.

Here's the design I've been working on, with a variation on the Chesterfield font. I will be waiting for your reply :)

It's a good start. I may like it to be a little more subtle and not quite as dark. Maybe add "Health & Life Insurance Enrollment" in smaller letters under the "Chesterfield Resources Inc".
I like what you and heathersmith did with the AGPerspective header.

Sure thing! Here's the new version of the banner. :) The graphic on the right contains a bit of distortion but will obtain the high quality version for the final banner. I'll be waiting for your feedback.

Very nice. Is there anyway to blend the menu bar in with the graphic at the right? I like the graphic a lot. I think it may look even better if the menu bar blended into it.

Here's the requested variation. :) Note I'm still gonna further polish upon selection of the design.

Christian, I wasn't clear on what I meant about making the bar blend into the graphic. I meant to make it closer to the same color and/or design (I don't like the baby blue color). I'm not sure it's possible, but the ultimate would be if the menu bar had the same design and border so it looked like it was part of the graphic. Otherwise, make it a darker blue, so it matches better.

djaka, Your design is nice, but the green and overall look too much like money. I don't want to remind the client how much the application cost each time they log in.

Definitely better! The direct merging of the graphic would've needed a lot of tweaking to give off the right effect. Here are two more variations. I'll be waiting for your feedback

Christian,
I think we're close. I would like to see a version with...
1) No grid lines
2) Make the toolbar a deeper blue to match the graphic (the graphic appears to go from dark blue to lighter).
3) Change "Health & Life Insurance Enrollment" to "Benefits Administration" and put "Group Health" and "Voluntary Life" somewhere else (maybe in the graphic)
4) Their logo has green in the middle (surrounding the C). Change yours from blue to green.
Thanks.

for the drop down menu, do you want us to provide the coding as well? DHTML ?

I don't think that will be necessary. Just the stylesheet, image files, etc. I'll be using Visual Studio 2005 to implement the design.

bogglins,
Thanks for your post. Couple of things.
1) Change "Health & Life Insurance Enrollment" to "Benefits Administration" and put "Group Health" and "Voluntary Life" somewhere else (maybe in the graphic)
2) Their logo has green in the middle (surrounding the C). I like the red, but in case the green is an absolute must give me a version with green in the middle.

Thank you all for some really good designs.
