What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
Undetermined, but the name of the accounting firm is Abercrombie & Associates, PC. Logo could be an offshoot of the A in the name or a separate identifiable and memorable freestanding design.

We offer accounting and tax services mostly in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area, but do have a number of clients around the state as well as around the country.

An identifiable branding and professional but modern image.
What are your long term goals?
To be viewed as an upper end CPA firm providing consulting and advisory services to small to medium sized businesses and higher wealth individuals with personal attention to our clients needs.
When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
September 15, 2006
Audience Profile:
Please describe your existing audience
Small to medium sized businesses and individuals with more complex tax issues than those who might go to an H&R Block type tax service
Who would you like to add to your audience?
Those companies and individuals who value the services that we provide as opposed to those who are merely looking for the cheapest price.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Undetermined, open to all concepts
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
No, open to all concepts
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
No
Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Professional, but modern, not like a "stuffy" or old-fashioned company
What is your tagline or slogan?
None, but we need one, this could be an additional project or go part and parcel with the logo concept
What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
That we are a proactive forward thinking CPA firm providing solutions to client issues not just the traditional preparers of tax returns and financial statements, even though we provide those services as well.
Where will your new logo be used?
Everywhere, as we intend to use it as part of our branding. Website, letterhead, business cards, envelopes, report covers, brochures, etc.
Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Competitors are small to medium sized CPA firms in Houston. No particular opinion on their logos.
List competitive URLs if possible

http://www.drdacpa.com/
http://www.ksgcpa.com/index.html
