:D Hi there, I'm looking for a logo for our Pet Sitting service. Currently we use a paw and our name to identify our business. I'm looking for something more on the cute side. Our colors are Navy Blue and White, but I'm willing to use other colors, just not to many(for print purposes). I don't want to many little details either (for print later). I do like this type of logo http://www.lvpetcare.com/ the Shadow Dog/cat/bird, but I'm open to whatever you come up with. We serve Dogs Cats, Birds, fish, Horses and bunnies. We are a LLC, but the logo can be with or without the LLC.
A little info: Established 1993, Our tag line is "Dependable In-Home Pet Care, while you're away" We do Pet Sitting, Mid-Day dog walks, Pet Taxi, and Administer medication.

This is another version of the top one. The figurews would be shadowed, but still coming out in a cute manner. The figures here are just placeholders and the final ones will be nicely defined. Just need to know if you like the format :D

Here's a first shot at your logo...
Its playful and not too "species specific"!
The collar could be done in blue to make it a one color logo.

If you want cartoon-y animals, they could be drawn above this.

Got Ideas anyone?
My company needs a logo that people will Identify. You know like the (S) for Safeway grocery stores!
Currently we use the name Pet Sitters Unlimited and a Blue paw under it for all our printed material. The problem is that when I went to create our web site my printer was unable to forward the paw to me. So that left me with not to many opptions and now I have decided to just go with a logo. However I'm not getting much response. So far only 3 or 4 people have submitted ideas! I thought with the $125.00 award that it might be a bigger hit. Guess not! : :(
Our business has been around 10 years and it really needs an updated, fresh, fun look. Please, Please Let me know if anyone has any Ideas.

I would like to see something that looks great in Black & White. In large and small. And, can be up to 2 colors with a professional look to it.

Honestly I didn't want to hurt the designers feelings that had already posted their hard work. I had a couple that stood out from the rest,( that's what I would have gone with) but they really weren't what we were looking for. So I figured I would give it another try and see if we could come up with something that will hopefully work.

Kirsten, could you give us some direction? What type of logo are you looking for? Not everyone who starts a contest here knows what they want ahead of time, but having already run this contest for a while, I'm sure you have some idea now (by process of elimination, if nothing else). For example, do you want a text based logo, symbol logo, cute, realistic, abstract, etc. Do you want animals in it? If so, what kind of animals? What about colors? Have anything in mind?

Like I said, you don't have to be able to nail all these things down, but the more info you offer, the more likely you will be to get people interested in your contest again and end up with a logo you'll love.

I wanted to give everyone a better Idea of what I had in mind! I'm thinking Text with an semi-abstract image. Cute, fun, Simple are all words that come to mind. I currently use a solid paw along with the company name to Identify our business.
I currently like the paw Idea because we take care of many different pets, but It's simple too! It just really needs updating! It would be great to see different Abstracts of paws.
I'd like to keep to one color a Dark or Navy Blue. Can have shading with same color, for future printing needs.
We currently use Times Roman, so whatever is used if it goes well with the Times Roman that would be great!

Kelly, Very cute! :P I like the kitty and dog in the top one. Would love to see the pooch grow a little! THe dog looks a little dwarfed by the kitty, maybe because it's in the forground! But so far so good! I like the font though not overly excited about it! I really like the circle Idea! Even if they were poping out of it! Thank you!
