Good article about logo design

I came across a pretty good article that helps explain the process of logo design and thought that it may be educational to some. Although written for the designer in mind, it may give some contest holders valuable information when deciding upon the parameters of their logo contest and the importance of knowing how the final design can effect cost and usability.

That's my main disadvantage - preparing for pro print! Very little experience in this and the reason why I stick to mainly web-based projects.
