Student Ministry Logo

Hey everyone! I was so impressed with my last logo (thanks again Sparkie!) that I thought I would have at least one more designed for me! Here's what I am looking for a good logo for our student ministry at my church for our junior and senior high students. The name Livewire has been the number one choice (named after Mountain Dews new flavor of pop). This logo will be used on letters, t-shirts, flyers and hopefully a website. Be nice in the colors area so i don't have to pay an arm and a leg to have them printed on t-shirts. Speaking of those, the color of the t-shirts we are going to print them on is going to be a lime green color. A bright lime green. Please keep this in mind when designing this logo (maybe a blue, orange or purple color?). Also, I am looking for something sharp that will attract junior and senior high students. Nothin sloppy with colors going everywhere and stars shining, etc. :D Another hint for ya: I guess another person has beat me to the idea of asking for a livewire logo to be designed over in the charity section, I don't like any of those designs that have been presented to him. I would really like for this to look good. Thanks and I am looking forward to see what cool and creative things you guys and girls will come up with!

Namdesign, thanks for your submission. I like where you are going with it but I think the letters need something more. I like what you did with the "V" in Livewire. What else can be done with the other letters? Maybe they need to be a different font?

Um... I for one think the designs I got "look good". I don't necessarily see it as me "beating" you to the name... Alot of great designers worked really hard to give me what I think looks good. You'll be really happy with what they give you I'm sure... just like I'm happy with what I'm getting. We're in the same boat here my friend, I hope you get the best design possible... and the best to you and your ministry.

But in the future, let's be a little kinder and gentler about other designs made for other people, it might stop someone from giving you the best you can get.

I don't have my url up yet I am actually working on my site with portfolio but have been side tracked with a lot of other work giving me no time to focus on my own materials...I have done a lot of work though - I can't wait to get it all up and going...For now you could keep checking I hope to have it up soon. I apologize for taking so long to reply. I thought I had it setup to where I would get an e-mail everytime someone posted. I got a few e-mails then it stopped so I thought I would check and see how things are going and I am glad that I did!

Namdesign: The new font looks a lot better. Thank you. Is it possible I could see the second logo (the one without the green background) with a glow behind the letters or maybe behind the whole livewire word itself. It may not look good but I would like to see anyways. Thanks!

Sparkie: Nice work once again! I definitely like the "Target Store" logo :lol2: Could you add "Student Ministry" to the logo and see what it looks like? I would definitely like one logo with "Student Ministries" and one without. Thanks

SPARKIE: Like what you did with the latest logo. I realized that I goofed on my last post. It should be student ministry rather than student ministries. Would you mind making the change for me? I like the supercharged student ministry idea. I am wondering though what it would like like if we could have a wire of some sort coming down from both sides of Livewire connecting to Student Ministry. I hope I am explaining my thoughts well. Also, if possible, I would like one livewire logo without the green background for t-shirts, etc. And then I would like one with a green background to use for publications (on white paper). I am thinking something other than a square though. An oval maybe? :)

NAMDESIGN: Thanks for making the changes. I think the original ones look the best. Any other variations you can show me? :rolleyes:

Hey! Hope you are feeling better. Thanks for the new logo, too! I like what you did with it. Here's what I would like to ask could be done with it. I like the craziness of the "Livewire" I also liked how you used an exclamation mark for the "i". I think it looks great. Is it possible to keep the same fonts and same idea but tone them down just a little little bit. What I mean by that is turn the "R" around the other way and the "V" and "E" in Live. I really like what you have done with it. Good work!
I would also like to ask if you could try leaving out the "supercharged" but making student ministries look like the way the supercharged letters do. I am excited about this new design you have come up wtih. thanks so much for your time and hard work
