What type of logo would you like?
I am definitely open to all ideas! Sometimes something you would never have thought of can be the thing you love the most. I would love to see a butterfly incorporated into the logo if possible. I would prefer something fun/ cute, yet elegant and professional at the same time. Something that is suitable for all types of business whether it be weddings, or portraits of adults or children.

I need something that I will be able to use on any background and resize to different sizes (large or small) without losing clarity.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
I would like to see something incorporating more than one color, nothing too dark or too bright & overpowering. If possible, I would like to have a color logo as well as the same logo in black and white.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
I would like to see a butterfly or butterflies incorporated, but it is not a must.

It is not necessary to have this in the logo though.

In all advertising and marketing materials, business cards, letterhead, possibly apparrel, my website, as a watermark on all photo proofs (done in Photoshop CS2), on large prints, etc.

Audience Profile: Please describe your existing audience
Weddings, couples, engagement photos, portraits, headshots, modeling portfolios, children, babies, maternity, families, etc.

Who would you like to add to your audience?
Parents, Children, Adults, Couples, families, teens, engaged couples.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
I would like it to portray a professional, elegant, yet artistic feeling. I would like it to be something people will remember.

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
Professional and caring services, top quality products and experience.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
I am new in the business as a photographer and have a lot of competition in the area I live in. As far as logos, not all of my competitors have logos, but I have not researched this too much.

What sets you apart from your competitors?
Excellent and experienced customer service. We will work through every step with out clients to ensure they are happy. We also strive to capture the true personality in the clients we photograph.

Thanks for your post! I'm not so sure I am crazy about the orange. I like the purple but I think more of a lighter purple or lavender would work better for me. I am hoping for something a little more whispy maybe in the font.

Also, My name is spelled with one "N". It is not a typo, sorry, I should have made a note of that in my original post. I will edit my post to reflect this.

Thanks again!

Here's something from me :)

Michael, I am really liking this one and I love the color. I can't decide which one I like better though, the one with the butterfly on top or on the side. I love them both. In the end, if I decide to go with this logo, Is it possible to get them in differnt colors, or will I be able to change the colors for different things? Or maybe two colors in the logo (like the lavender and a pink or a pastel type green or blue? (i am not 100% sure how these really work). I like the design though. Thanks for your submission! I love it.

I like this one a lot too, although I think the green may be a little too bright for me maybe. Maybe in a more pastel type green would be better suited for my tastes. I do like it though. Thanks for your submission!! I have a feeling this will be a hard choice for me.

It's your logo, I can make it however you like it. All of the things you mentioned are possible. :)

I like the look of these and I agree, they are not too feminine or too masculine. These look great. Again, this is going to be a really hard descision. Can I take them all? lol :P

I would love to see some more ideas!! I like them all, but I think as of now I am leaning towards the logo from Michael Bleigh. I like the disign of this one and the two different variations. I would love other ideas though, and they dont HAVE to have butterflies, although I originally was thinking I wanted one in the logo, it might be nice to see some with other ideas too. (i am not keen on the filmstrip looking logos though).

Would love to see more ideas with and without butterflies.

Thanks again to all who have submitted logos. You all do great work!!

Paula, I LOVE this butterfly! Would it be possible to use this butterfly shape but without having it be part of the "J"? LIke maybe having the butterfly on the side or on the top with "Jenifer Mann Photography". I would also like to see my name in a different font. I really like the fonts used in message #4 and message #20. I also like the way the logos were set up in #4 and #9 as far as the positioning of the butterfly and wording. What I love about #4 is that there is a log with the butterfly on top and one on the side. I like the option of using both designs and being able to have the choice of which logo looks better on whatever it is I am using it for. on #9, I like the way the butterfly is in the middle of the wording. I definitely want the work "Photography" with my logo though.

I would love to see another variation of this logo.

Thanks for your submission.
