Not exactly what I had in mind, but thank you anyway.

I am looking for something with a very elegant, professional look. This seems a little 'funky'.

One from me.

Looking forward to your comments and suggestions.

Thanks.

Thank you for your submission. I think this is a little simple.

I would like a piece of graphic that is a little more involved (rather than the floating boxes) but I don't have a preference yet to what that should look like.

I was originally against a very long logo, but now, maybe I like that style.

This is a cool design... I like the palm tree - sorta thing. I like the colors too... I'm not sure I like the "Development", but I can't think of much else to do with it.

Here is a concept for your consideration:

After thinking a little, I may want to see a little different palm tree... perhaps one that looks more like a palm tree.

I'm sorry, but I don't care for this design too much. It looks too 70's to me. I'm looking for more cutting edge. The image should be more symbolic.

Here is a concept for your consideration:

I've tried the "RC" in a circle myself - and I haven't been able to make it look good enough. I think I would prefer a graphic component that is more symbolic - something to do with the Costa Rican lifestyle and/or technology - or just a gliff that makes no sense at all. ;)

:)

Some more feedback after I discussed it with others...

I feel it's a little under developed & lacks polish. Maybe if the lines were made thinner, more of a shine added to the background of the circle & and I'd like to see some different font options. I feel the font is too laid back & casual. A more sophisticated & elegant font would be nicer.

Here's a look!

This image looks very familiar - too familiar. The look is not technical / elegant enough for me.

I don't like the colors and it looks a little too busy.

Here's a different look!

I like the palm tree, but I'm not sure I like the two sets of colors divided by the palm tree.

I do not like the font.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! I changed the font and the location of the colors. They represent the sun and ocean. Thanks!

I like this one better. I really like the shine on the first logo (and the other variations). Can we try something with thinner lines on the graphic? The font is looking better, but something still isn't right. Perhaps something different needs to be done with the "Development" portion.

Here are revisions!

Okay - thank you. I think I have enough revisions from "Freetime". Thanks!

I am still waiting for other revisions and/or entries but I would like to make a decision very soon.

Samoyloff emailed me to say that he will give me revisions soon. I quite like the 'manufactured' palm tree and would like to see my other comments applied to it.

In the meantime, if anybody else would like to post revisions or new images in a similar fashion (manufactured palm trees), I would love it.

I am going to update the due date to Wednesday night.

Thanks!

I'm sorry - I am not sold on the classic plam tree and kind of like something _similar_ to post #6. Samoyloff promised revisions - but I haven't heard from him.

If you are interested - can you give something similar a shot without stepping on Samoyloff's toes?

Freetime - thanks for the attempt at a funky palm tree, but I'm really not sure if I like that.

Senter - very nice entry, I like it. I think the fonts are right on, and I'm deciding on if I like the graphic or not. It is elegant and unique.

I'm out of town until Sunday. I'll make a decision Sunday night - but of course I welcome more entries and revisions.

SenterBrands,

You are the winner, but I'd like to see some revisions:

1. It would be nice to see it with the icon to the left & text on the right.

2. I'd like to see a version using orange or green instead of the lighter blue.

3. I'd like to see a slight gradient through the icon to give it more depth but I'm concerned it may wreck it

Thanks.

Any word on your color decision as of yet?

fcaputo
12-07-2006, 06:27 PM
Lets go with the original colors you chose, with the "CR" back on top, but with the gradient as you did in this last revision.

That'll be it - you can give me the source with these choices.

Thanks!

In reading my last response - I'm not sure if I was clear. This is what I'm looking for:

1. A return to the original colors
2. A return to having the "CR" on the top of the RichCoast text
3. Gradients applied as in the last revision

Thanks!
