Looking for a new logo for a skin care product
Company name: BFlawless or bFlawless
Concept: Using the power of B-Vitamins in exclusive topical and
internal formulas to reduce acne & enhance the skin.
All products will be 99.5%+ natural +/or organic based
and will sold to men, women, boys & girls.
Text: "bflawless" or "BFlawless" and "skin care regimen" or
"skin care system" ...we want to use the name of the
product line/company etc, but we're flexible as to
the subheader for the logo but something like these
--Colors?
Since the flagship product is an internal vitamin product that
will be grape flavored we wanted to have some type of purple
colored element in the logo design (even the capsulized
version will use a purple colored capsule at some point). There
should be another color with it that helps make it stand out.
The purple color, unless something different really catches
our eye should be a darker, richer purple color. If possible
we would like to keep the color combination to 2 colors but
if the design requires 3 colors (and really catches our
eye and imagination) we may go with that instead.
--Looking for?
We're looking for a logo that is HIGHLY professional stylish,
giving our prospects the idea of a high-end skin care product
that you would only see in expensive department stores.
We plan on using more expensive packaging and would like
the logo to exude that appeal to our clients.
--Needed with final design files?
1. I will need the PANTONE color specifications when the
project is done (for the printers)
2. Adobe .PSD Files with whatever versions you typcially supply
Thanks in advance. I look forward to seeing your concepts/ideas
Jack :)

Thanks for your post Jennifer. This was one of my original ideas when I first wanted a logo for these products about a year ago.
I do think that we'll end up using a lower cased "b" this time around on our logo...as long as the design allows for a clean/stylish look with one that is.
We're looking for something different than this, however. But I am glad to see that youre going to try on this project as well. I have seen some of your work over the past few months (various projects) and you do good work.
Thanks again,
Jack :-)

Fabian, that is more of something that we're
looking to see. That color combination is a good
one as well, the lighter gold (?) will enhance
the purple coloring.
I am not 100% sold on that specific image but
the idea id very good. Also, we would like to
use a crisper looking font.
I went looking through some old posts and
found another layout that had a nice font
combination that I had liked. Ironically, it
ended up being posted on another acne product
project.
The link is here:
http://www.designoutpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8239&highlight=clearpores
(Message #12, by Mark)
These fonts looked clean/professional so some-
thing along those lines would be a great
starting place.
The only thing about using fonts like that is the
logo may end up having to be 3 colros afte all
since the entire name would need to lowercased
and we would like to make the "b" stand out
with a different color.
Anyway, I like the idea of the graphic/object
above the name/tagline or to the left. That is
good to see as we'll want to move on from there.
Thanks for posts,
Jack :)

Hey there Jefff, thanks for your post. I like how
you're thinking of something different...kind of
with a subliminal message at the same time.
I have shown this design to my partners and out
the choices to date they're leaning more towards
Fabian's idea.
Something with a smaller (abstract) icon/graphic
with a sleek looking font set.
Some ideas that sprung up after looking at these were:
1. Maybe have the B as a graphic image above the
name/tagline but in some type of artistic style
2. An updated idea based on a design found here:
http://www.greencream.com/images/ProgressiveLevelingShot.jpg
3. Fabian's idea with a artistic facial graphic above
the name/tagline
...or... same idea but with graphic to left of name/tag
I hope this helps. Thanks for the posts!

Hey there....man, there's been a lot of activity since the
last time I had logged in. Thanks so much.
Jeff,
You've been a busy beaver. You've worked on a couple
projects for us before so I know you do good work :)
I like the idea in message #8 but the "b" doesn't work
for us...I think the face looks cool though, nice touch.
I wasn't into the other designs but I did like the face
idea in Message #12 as well. I do think that the layouts
would look more appealing if they were smaller so that
it would give us a closer look at the actual size.....?
Fabian,
For me personally I am liking what you're striving
towards. I amliking the ideas and I honestly thinking
it's maybe just one or two (small) things that are
keeping it from hitting the mark.
Senter,
I am glad you have come aboard this project. I have
seen your work over the months and have liked
many concepts you have come out with for clients.
I like your concept layout, neat/clean, I am just
not sure about the graphic object. I liked the
version furthest to the top the best. Also, we'd
like to use a different font than that....BUT, just
like Fabian's ideas it seems real close to something.
Thanks again everyone....PLEASE be sure to keep
submitting great ideas like these.
Jack :-)

Hey Jeff, out of the newest posts I think Message #18 is closer
to something we'll end up going with...but the decorate box/ticket
in Mesdsage #20 is a good idea. I can see the layout on a product
container and will forward this for review as well.
However, the fonts included with both designs do not appeal to
us so it's hard to tell at this point.
In Message #8, in response to your earlier question, I still like
the idea of the face since it is a nice pic of the face but in
the lower-cased "b" it just seems to me that it would need to
be too big to work on a finished design and although we want
to emphasize the "b" or "B" in the finished design we do not
want it to be the central point of the logo. I hope this explains
what I am trying to say.
Thanks again,
Jack :-)

Hey there Jeff, thanks for your reply. Do you mean the
"skin care system" text or the "bflawess" text being the
same font as the post I had mentioned earlier?
The tagline text looks good, maybe not all capped but
it looked crisp. The main bflawless text didn't appeal
to my partners and myself.
A thought from a partner was some type fo variation
of the face use din Message #8 (color version) with
a layout like Mesages #18 and #19.
Fabian,
Hopefully, you're still working on this project as well.
While we're interested in seeing variations from other

Hello and thanks for the recent posts...they're GREATLY appreciated!
Jeff,
I wil forward Version 11 to my partners, that has some promise. I
guess we can drop the ticket based theme. I can see a version
of something like that on the labeling but it may be after a 1,000
revisions so let's save time and skip that one for now. Version 13
is good but may be a little to feminine for our male clients. Our
male client base outnumbers the females. Most female clients
that we asked said they didn't mind more maculine looking prod-
uct packaging but the men weren't as forgiving so I don't want
to get to close to that line. (V13 had the nicer flower graphic)
If you can can put a variation of Version 15...smaller image of
the face layout above the name/tagline and possibly a version
with the image to the left of the name/tagline than I would like
to those forwarded to my partners for review.
Tini,
Version 2 lkooks better than Version 1 for us. Tee first one is
a different idea and we like that, of course, but the "b" in
the graphic looked a little bunny like :) I liked your idea in
Version 3. If you can come up with a couple variations of
that theme/concept than we'd LOVE to see them.
Thanks for you rposts,
Jack :-)

Fabian,
Thanks for submitting another variation. Is it the graphic symbol
in Message #37 a "b" or does it have another meaning? I like the
layout and will forward this as well. I like the gold coloring as well.
Not sure if we'll make it a little darker (not much if at all) but it
goes well together.
graphxguy,
I like the idea and will forward this to my partners as well. My
only suggestions are the purple color would need to be darker,
richer. The name would either be all capitalized or all lower
cased. I like the graphic symbol. just not sure how it would
relate, or identify us, with the product and/or biz name.
Finaly, the circles to the side of the tag are different and a
good touch. I am curious to see how it all looks together
with a slight makeover to the graphic and the ideas above.
Thanks so much for your posts...

Thanks for the posts. We're happy that there are so many
talented artists submitting concepts for this project.
tini1,
I like Version 3A the best to date. PLease submit a couple
variations with multiple colors. We've found that a darker gold
variation (AFA738 in Photoshop) with the Grape (31014B)
looked appealing...or something similar. Also, we'd like to see
a variation of Version 3 with the colors as well. We mayt add
a third color (gray variation?) for the tagline as well. Version
3B loked good, clean & professional feel, just the graphic
element seemed too big to make it work (name/tag/graphic)
on many of the smaller bottles of product & still be readible.
My favorite thing about V3B is the way you had separated
the B|FLAWLESS. I had thought about this some time but
my fonts never made it look any good...but it worked here!
Maybe a color combination and a smaller graphic would work?
Fabian,
We like the idea and the color scheme. Can it be modified
to look more like a "b" ? I find myself going back to Version
1 AND Version 2 every time I come back here. I look at V1
and wonder about a variation of the face? I look at V2,
which I believe is my favorite of the 3, and think that it
looks good...good idea...and wondering what little change
is keeping that idea from being a GREAT layout. I don't
think something like that is that far away at all.
Jeff,
Still interested in seeing a variation of the face in Message #33.
With the color scheme ideas (mentioned to tini1 above) and a
smaller graphic of that face above and maybe to the left as
well we might have something....?
Thanks again....we appreciate all your hard work!

Also, I picked colors close to the RGB colors you suggested. There's not really a Pantone spot purple that matches very well, but this should be close. The gold was more green than I thought you were looking for, but I used it anyway. Let me know if that's what you were thinking. We can go more yellow if need be.

Goodmorning.
Please allow me to explain version 1, as im told it can take a few looks

Fabian,
When I was thinking about having the graphic look more like a
"b" I was actually referring to the graphic in Message #37 but
to be honest I am glad you modified Message #14 instead...
I can see a version of Msgs 14/43 on our product labeling...
so we're able to get another look at it. Can you put a "|"
between the "b" and "flawless" and also justify the tagline
to the right under the name and make it a medium grey
color (not too dark, not too light). I think we'll probably
use a gray color variation to write up the type/copy for
the rest of the product labeling....? Also, with that font,
can we try another version (with the ideas just mentioned
in all caps as well? BTW, my PC setting on my home pc
make hard to see things real close so I never seen the "2"
faces in the image....tomorrow at work I will be able to
get a better look at it. That was a good idea :)
Jeff,
I lie Message #43 better and will forward this to my partners
for review. The "B" image next to the "b" is too much. If we
kept the face image in the "B" and to the left we would like
to try turning the "B" into a box/circle & modifying the lighter
purple to match the gold. The tagline justify to the right
is great. If we can make it a medium grey color as talked
about above to Fabian that would be nice to see. Also,
can we try putting the "|" after the "b" and another version
of all this with capital letters as well? I know it is a lot and
I apologize in advance. I just wnat to be able to get the
most out of all the work posted..don't want to waste
anyone's valuable time.
Thanks VERY much for your posts,

I was just verifying that my post was listed and had seen
that you had submitted another idea while I was typing.
Thanks Fabian...that's great. This looks much better and
customers would not have a hard time identifying with it.
I am not sure if I can say that I think this has as much
potential as a Message 14/43 variation but it is something
that has potential..that's for sure. I just feel that the
design idea that you had started in #14 offers a different,
and unique, concept that can help "brand" our products
in time...obviously a BIG motivation with our logo selection.
Thanks again,

Thanks for the updated posts......LOTS of GREAT work!
Jeff,
Man, when you work on a project you REALLY put in a
bunch of revisions. My partners liked the box with the
face in it much more than the "B". Also, the fonts used
in V18 looked real good. The color scheme with the
name, in Version 18 & 19 looked nice with that layout.
With this layout my partners also liked the graphic
over the name/tagline due to the size of the graphic.
Excellent work Jeff.
Fabian,
Version 4 and 5 look very good, my partners are happy with
that concept and both variations. BTW, I'll try to make sure
I use Version #'s from now on :) We're not sure which of
the layouts we like better...V2.2, with the added ideas that
you put in later, of V4 or V5. Can we another couple variations
of the "b" graphic, with the same coloring and the same bead
(or skin pores) style composition but keep the name & tagline
the same as in V5. That looks VERY clean & professional?
Thanks very Fabian.
tini1,
We like the 'sleekness' of the concept you have put together.
I am still not sure if the 3 lines above the name are too big
but they do look good other than that, Our favorite versions
would be combinations within posts of your posts. Within V3A
we like both of the top variations but with the tagline coloring
of the bottom two. With V3B the top right version appeals to
us more (out of those 4). However, the 3 lines would seem to
need to be darker. Also, please try the "B" as a thicker bold
faced type, and the tagline in: 1 version, greyish color with
the line of text slightly smaller so that it fits within the boun-
daries of the BFLAWLESS line; and 1 version with the same
ideas but using the darker gold color of the revised 3 lined
graphic for the tagline text. BTW, is is possible to get the
3 lines graphic smaller? Wasn't sure if this was a stock
version of yours or something you could easily modify.
IDarwish,
Nice idea withthe facial image. The coloring is off as to what
we're looking to put together. Also, we would like to use
different fonts than what you had used....BUT, the idea is
different and that is what we're looking for. Thanks for the
post and any potential variations you may have for it.
Medigraph,
Thanks for your submission. The layout is something that
we have been liking a lot...with the graphic aligned to
the left and the tagline under the name aligned to the right.
That looks real nice. We'd like to see a version of this with
the color schemes that we have been seeing from the
majority of the other designers (i.e. purple/drk gold/grey?),
maybe with a bolder faced "b" as well. The fonts look
pretty nice but we'd like to see everything with the
right colors in order to get a better feel for it.
THANKS AGAIN everyone. We appreciate the hard work!

Senter,
Thanks for the new revisions. I like the Version 3 and will
forward this to my partners. The design is different and
interesting and can be seen as a branding tool...very good!
Please try a version with a darker gold coloring "flawless"
with "skincare regimen" tagline in a grey color (lighter than
the "flawless" coloring) aligned to the right under "flawless"
I do like the first revision, cool graphic...just doesn't seem to
fit what we're looking for with this specific project.
Fabian,
To date, we like the format of the name/tagline the best
in Version 5. We would like to see a variation or two of
the "b" graphic that you used in both Version 2.2 and
Version 5. Please use the same coloring as well. The
only other thing besides the "b" variations is possibly
taking away a pixel or two to both sides of the "|"
in the name..to see what it looks like tightened up
a bit. Finally, with it tightened up a little bit we may
be able to use a smaller pixel size for the tagline?
We're VERY interested in seeing what can be with
this layout....Thanks Fabian....looking REAL good!
Jeff,
WIll do my friend. My partners have the latest revisions

VERY much for your hard work!
IDarwish,
Thanks for your revisions. I would like to see the design
on the bottom left (Version 2) with the gold coloring for
the left side of the graphic as well as the "b". Also, could
you put a "|" in between the "b" and "flawless" and make
the skincare system a little bigger....not a lot bigger.
With your design it looks MUCH better smaller...that was
a good touch. Just a hair bigger would be perfect.

Medigraph,
We like the layout and the concept but we're not
looking to use that coloring scheme. We're looking
for purple and a gold variation...or purple and

Fabian,
Thanks for the variations with the "b" graphic.
Maybe we should leave that part alone...? Not

We like the earlier "b" versions we were just

Thanks for your patience everyone. After discussing the
posted concepts for quite some time here are some
ideas we had in order to move forward w/each specific
layout.
Our biggest concern is with having a design that if
you took the name/tagline away that would be
recognizable (brandable) to our customers with the
graphic image alone...nothing too generic.
With that in mind here are some suggestions:
Senter,
We like your "b" as it has potential to separate
our products image in the mind of our clients
and stand out without the name/tagline. Is
there a way to get another version or two of this?
Also, possible a darker purple color. Unless it is
the resolution on our screens, it loks like it is
leaning more towards a blue color w purple highlights
As for variations of this...we honestly do not know
what to suggest. It seems like it is just missing
something that would make us go....."YES! That's it!"
Jeff,
You had about 100 different concepts :) A few of
them stood out for us but we couldn't seem to get
that feeling that I mentioned to Sener above...that
"YES" feeling. However, after some feedback from
people outside our group we found that your design
in Message #61 seems to create more response. Then
we had mosdified it slightly and receive better feed-
back. The image below is a variation that we'd like
to see updated . I am sure the fonts would need
some work but the coloring/layout has promise.
http://www.acnemiracle.com/images/tester.gif
Fabian,
With the initial concepts of the skin pores in a "b"
shape, I was intrigued about the possibilities of
this design. I thought the layout and concept behind
it made it a good branding possibility for this logo.
Feedback wasnt as high as (I had) expected but
I think it had to domore font choice as a few
people had said something about the fonts being
to "blocky" ... so it's possible with another font
we could be back in business with a variation of
Version #5. I do want to point out that we gave
the idea of an abstract/artistic? variation of the
image used in your Version #1 and this caused
some...."yeah, I think that would look much better"'s
from a few people outside out group.
graphxguy,
We had some good feedback for your design in
Message #35. The only concern we had was the
generic feel for the graphic image above the name
and tagline...not really branding our company.
We had modified the layout slightly to see if the
feedback would vary and 90% of the feedback
liek a version like the image below. Could you modify
the design to reflect a layout like this....and also
give us an idea of why this graphic was used as
a means to help us get a grasp as to why it would
be good for a branding image for our product/company
Thanks much!
http://www.acnemiracle.com/images/tester1a2.jpg
tini1,
We had some good feedback from your Message #72,
especially the coloring. However, one of the people
that we used for feedback works for a legal compliance
company and one oftheir clients has a logo that looks
like this. From what I understand not enough to have
any type of legal problem but enough for her and
people that knoe them to instantly identify her image
of the product with that company. Obviously, this
is something we would want to avoid as much as
possible. HOWEVER, one thing I was thinking of,
and if this could work it might be the EXACT thing
we;re looking for, is something like those 3 lines
that you're using rotated clockwise, with the end
of the lines (that are pointing up) pointing down
and in and resembling some type of artistib "B"
formation. This could be a good branding tool...?
I am hoping that this is a design that you're able
to do something like this and the graphic is not
some type of static/stock image you have. If this
can be done, and the size made slightly smaller,
I think this could work VERY well!
IDarwish,
Your design scored pretty good in our feedback.
However, only with the women we had contacted.
The men thought it was too feminine. If there is
a way that we could make it more unisex in nature
I think we could have something.
Medigraph,
Your design didn't score as well as we would have
thought, even with the updated revisions. I believe
it might have been the fonts. They might be too
thin and not bold enough....? Other than the purple
needing to be darker in your latest update I do not
see anything else that could throw off feedback.
Thanks so much everyone,
Jack :-)

Thanks Jack. Here's my revision. Let me know if you want me to change anything (fonts, color...). It's very similar to my version 14 in message 31. Even with this logo, there's no reason you couldn't break out the square element from message 61 to use on its own in some applications.
graphxguy
12-14-2006, 09:40 AM
Thanks for the feedback and interest in my design.
In all honesty, the graphic was an abstract representation of a woman (head and face with her right arm wrapped across her chest with her hand resting on her left shoulder). I posted this design and then went back to the summary and realized that this product was going to be marketed to both sexes. It could probably still represent a human form. However I also see a molecular representation as well as a product that offers cleaning and smoothing properties. My concern is that now that you know it's supposed to be a woman, that's all you'll see from now on.
Please let me know if, given the above information, you would like for me to proceed with the requested revisions. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks.

graphxguy,
Thanks for your post. Yes, please post any revisions that
you can regarding that concept. If there is a way to
modify (even slightly) to reflect a little more of a
branding feel, to both sexes :), that would be great.
Don't be concerned with the possibility that we will
only see a 'feminine' layout as we're not sure that
the client will pick up on the concept behind the
design, & therefore never realize the feminine nature
behind it.
As long as the colors are darker and not too soft
spoken this should not be a problem.
Our biggest objective is to have a logo design with
a graphic element that, if ever needed, could be
used alone to bring up our product in the customer's
mind. I am sure yo know what we're referring to
as you must have heard it 1,000,000 times when
putting together design concepts in the past.
This is why we have singled out the layouts that
offered a different concept for each graphic element.
Each has the ability to become a branding tool...
we're just looking for the little modification or
addition to make us say.......STOP! That's exactlywhat
we're looking for!......Your design is pretty close to
that feeling so that is why we're hoping something
(an idea?) can come out of the revision process.
Thanks again,
Jack :-)

Jeff,
Thanks for the revision. Your facial image, with the
modified coloring is something that we can use by
itself and a reason why I am sure that after the
mods were made and feedback was requested that
it was mostly positive feedback that we had received.
I like the modified "B" font that you had used. But
for some reason it doesn't look as good with the
rest of the name. Also, I guess the name (and tagline)
would need to be bigger? Seems like too much space
above and below the name.
Unless the facial image is decreasd in (height) size
enough to compress the size a bit?
Please replace light bluishpurplish color on the tagline
to a greyish color to see how that would look as well.
Thansk Jeff!
Jack :-)
P.S. A friend is having that book cover done that
you're working on. I am not sure, at this point,
which way she is leaning but I wanted to tell you
that your initial concepts looked VERY good! I
also liked tini1's Message #14 concept as well.

Thanks for the updates tini1. I was wondering how it
would look with using all 3 lines in a capital B style
format. Rotated clockwise, but at an upwards angle,
http://acnemiracle.com/images/tini1.jpg
Then, the far right edges of each line would fold down
and in to form an artistic "B" .... except maybe the
bottom line....? not sure how that would look?
I hope you can understand what i am trying to say.
I am not a designer so its tough to relay my thoughts
in layman's terms :-)
I am not sure if the lines should be close
together or anything but it seems like there
might be a way to use the 3 lines to make
a good lookging (brandable) "B" image...?

tini1,
Thanks for the revision. I will forward this to my
partners as well. This is a nice take on it...looks
a little serpentine but the "different" feel is some-
thing that we've been looking for & can appreciate.
If there's way to put together the design idea that
was mentioned with the 3 lines, and the 3 lines
are slightly different but end up completing the
idea...as long as it looks different, artisticm, and
professional...than it doesn't have to be those
exact line (graphic) elements. maybe something
a little different would work as well. The idea
would be to form an artistic/abstract/different
looking variation on the "B" graphic element
that could stand out and become a branding tool.
fabian,
That graphic image is my favorite version of yours

I am sorry for the delay in getting back to this project gang.
We're just deciding on the designer we want to finish this
project with....and it is NOT an easy decision at all.
Here are the ones we're debating:
Jeff/OffbeatDesign: Version 25. While we may try a different font
or 2, the layout looks nice & the larger font minimizes empty space
to the right of the graphic. The graphi image is something that
eventually can be used alone and still identify our products to
our clients with very ltitle effort...something very important to us.
Fabian: Version 8, with the 2-toned "b" looks promising. Like with
Jeff's design we may want to try a different font, or a bolder version
of what you had used there...but in any case, the graphic element
is something that we can see as a branding tool
graphxguy: Message #108/Version 2 is another nice one. We're
debating on whether or not too keep the lens flare effect in the
graphic image. Quite possibly fill the little circles solid with the
purple color and maybe use the line to separate the B and
FLAWLESS instead of the brackets....but not sure about that,
just something we're thinking about testing if we decide to
go with your layout and mess with a last minute change or 2.
tini1: Message #111/Version 9 ius a good idea, with the leaf added
as these products are 95-99.5% natural/organic based. We may want
to lose one of the lines under/behind it and stick with one line and
then the "b" and leaf combo...but we're not 100% sure. We've also
had some good positive feedback from Message #95 as well.
Again, I wanted to apologize on the delay. We're definitely running
behind schedule with not being able to decide....next project is
going to be a label design for a food pouch (internal product is not
packaged in the typical packer style bottle, we package it in a
standing, resealable, pouch) ... and we can't get started until this
logo has been finalized.
Thanks for all your hard work and your patience!

The feedback really threw us for a loop. Each of us (owners)
had our own take on what we thought worked best. Jeff's
design reminded me of my last project and I liked that.
Fabian's pores with the 2-toned "b" I thought would be
a BIG hit, & graphxguy's unique layout was very impressive
and different than anything I had ever seen before.
We'll be deciding on whether to move forward with either
tini1's concept or BlueCherryGraphics and touch up the
final changes with one of them shortly.

tini1,
Thanks for the revision. We like the font for the
"skincare regimen" but not crazy about the font
used for the B|FLAWLESS. We do like the "B"
being bolder than the FLAWLESS, however. It
is possible that this color scheme is throwing
off the overall 'feel' of the logo. Maybe going with
one bland color (black or some type of greyscale)
and one prominent will make it better....?
You do not have to post any color revisions,
unless you were thinking something like this
and already had a color scheme in mind.
I modified the color scheme in Photoshop
to greyscale and the logo looked pretty good.
I still thought the B|FLAWLESS font could
have been updated but it looked nice. I
would think that adding a spot color to
spruce it up from there would be great.
I thought the same thing with BlueCherry's
design as well.

Both sets of the latest revisions are VERY nice and
definitely considered a step or two better/forward

tini1,
The font used for B|FLAWLESS in Message #129
is so much better. It's clean and professional
& I'm sure looks sharper on quality paper with
a higher DPI settong (no compression). I think
the coloring of it made it look nice too.
The idea of the box around the graphic image is
a good touch and gives us another take on things
BlueCherry,
I really like that "b" graphic element. I am not sure
about the 2 graphic in the post. If the B in B|FLAWLESS
is a matching the graphic image in any part than
maybe it would look better with the whole "b"
part of the graphic element colored to match...?
I am glad that you varied the b and flawless in
one of them so that the flawless was italicized. I
was wondering about something like that myself.
I am not sure if it was just because of the font
or ??? I think we should stick with the name
all in regular type. However, I did like the
coloring in the first/top variation. The darker
gold looked nice.
Thanks again. Unless you have a brainstorm that

as anticipated. It came throughout the night...blame
it on being Christmas weekend :-)
The feedback suggests that we will be moving forward

Thanks for your recent revisions Jennifer, we wanted

an average of 15-20% higher.
We also wanted to THANK EVERYONE again for all

ideas and posts.
We GREATLY appreciate all your hard work and
look forward to working with you again on future
projects (we have a few in the hopper now).
Well, tini1, let's move forward and hopefully
finalize this project soon :-)
Here are a couple suggestions to start:
1. Can we try a couple color variations of
the "b" graphic and the background image
(the 'B" graphic image not being white in
all of them? I am not sure if only white
will work but just to give an idea of bound-
aries with the "b" graphic coloring.
2. In Message #129, can we try that green
variation with a black colored tagline? and
possibly the same with the "|"??
3. In Message #129, can we try the darker
blue color with greyish colored tagline? and
possibly the same with the "|"??
We're really trying to focus in a catchy and
stylish color combination that we can use
for this design that will mesh well with all
marketing materials (website, letterhead,
business card, product sheets, etc.)
Thanks tini1,
Jack :-)

Hello tini1.
Yes, please use a square or rectanlge type of image, either
with straight lines/corners or with some type of artistic edges
to give it a different 'feel" ??
Thanks much,
Jack :-)

Thanks for the revision tini1. I really like that green color...but,
ultimately it wil have to be some shade of blue, I believe, in
order to fit in with the layout of the upcoming webite (centers
around blue coloring, some grey and black as well.
I am anxiously awaiting your square element variations.
Thanks again :-)

Hello again Missy.
There is something about that green color that I REALLY like. We
all agree on it as well. We're just matching it up with our website
template (we have the first page abour 95% done at this point)
and it doesn't seem to match up....but we're trying to figure out
a way to see if a change can be made to make it 'work'
Message #143 looks nice. If we go with the top version we would
probably thin the lines slightly (the purple lines on top/bottom)
and even the space between the edge of the purple lines and the
"b" graphic in the middle..so that the space above the "b" graphic
until it touches the purple line would equal the space below the
"b" graphic until it touchs the lower purple line.
We like the background 'box' for the bottom version the best of all
the boxed background ideas. The waved/ragged egdes is a nice
touch and something we were hoping would look good as well.
The only thing we would change (other than a possible color
change) is just to make it slightly smaller so there would be a
little less empty space surround the "b" graphic....not too much
less, just a hair or so smaller. Other than that it looks perfect!
The coloring in #144 is not what we're looking for but we do
appreciate the efforts to show us more styles. We wil either stick
with the green/purple format (if we can make it work with all
the other sales materials) or a blue color format.
So, we're pretty much done at this point...we just need to
finalize the coloring and the minor changes mentioned above
to go with the color scheme adn decide on the final design:
-Message #129 ...or...one of the variations in
-Message #143
We'll decide by the end of biz today (with a little help from our
trusty feedback system) and then we'll finalize the coloring
tomorrow and hopefully end this project as well.
Great work Missy...
Jack :-)

Hello Missy,
It looks like we're going to move forward with the bottom
variation in Mesage #143.
We'll be looking at color variations over the day today, but
other than that the only thing we would like to modify is
the suggestion we had in my last message. That change
is just to make it slightly smaller so there would be a
little less empty space surround the "b" graphic, not too much
less, just a hair or so smaller. Other than that it looks perfect!
Thanks Missy :-)
P.S. We finally at the end

Missy,
Here is a link to a test layout for the front page of the new
website: http://www.bflawless.com/test/
This will give you an idea of the coloring...mostly blue color
variations, with some grey, light purple, etc.
We REALLY like that green but we just don't see how that
can fit into this layout?
So, all we need to do is modify the image slightly, explained
in an earlier message (by removing some of the space around
the white "b" graphic in the bottom version of Message #143
and modify the coloring and then we're done.
Thanks Missy,
Jack :-)
P.S. That space in the middle of the page is for a quick flash
animation that should be done shortly. It wil use the colors
of the site as well.

Hey there Missy. I am still not sure about the coloring but let's
finalize this project once and for all :-)
I guess we'll have to go with the "b" graphic image dimensions
from Message #143. With Message #148 there was too much
of the background image (space around the "b" graphic) taken
off....to where it's kind of choking the "b" graphic slightly.
Unless you can modify it so that it's in the middle of the #143
and #148?? #143 just has a hair too much and #148 looks too
constricted. I apologize for the nit picking it's just we'll have to
keep looking at this for the next few years and it will drive us
nuts (hahaha).
If you could, w/ the versions you send us (including the .PSD) please
put the "b" graphic and the background image on different layers.
This way if we end up finding that the green is just not working we
can easily change the color to a blue variation.
As long as we know the font names we can easily adjust the coloring
for them without messing with the resolution/look of the final layout.
Thanks for your hard work Missy....The logo looks excellent! If you
can modify the spacing as suggested above....we'll take the top
version of Message #148 & call this project COMPLETE...Thank God!
Jack :-)

Hey Missy...that's great, thanks for the modification. The spacing
looks very good.
I guess we're all done now.....Thank God....Yippeee :-)
All we would need is the files. If possible, please include the "b"
graphic and the background on different layers. I am pretty sure
Adobe PShop will tell me the font names that were used once I
load the PSD so I think that's it.
Thanks so much for your hard work Missy....We appreciate it!
Jack :-)
