Probably the best logo of the bunch

thanks pracus. i think this is a really great first attempt. i like how you incorporated the trading up concept with increasing font sizes and also liked the windows that tie in commercial office buildings.
could you replace the red & blue with a combination of grey/silver and black text to look more city-like? also, let's see what the windows look like in yellow or a combination of white & yellow.
thanks,
josh

pracus: this one is definitely more to my tastes. can you show me a version where the individual letters are a solid color (the darker color used for the tops) and drop the outline from the text?
thanks!

offbeatdesign: i think your first concept is the best of the group. can you darken the "1031" text color? also, maybe a background color of darker shade of blue or in grey/silver?
thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. Here's the first of two color variations. Please keep in mind that colors will vary by monitor.

The second variation. This one uses two shades of gray/silver for a different effect.

offbeatdesign: can you add windows into the building looking arrow in your second concept?
also, in your last post, i think the blue "trade up" text doesn't work well. how about a darker silver/grey than the "1031"?
thanks again for your efforts.

Hi, I wanted to thank you for your post on my Trade Up 1031 logo thread. What do you think about putting an outline of a city skyline above the "Trade Up 1031" text instead of that grey arrow? I like your entry, but would like to see your text incorporated with some sort of play on commercial real estate. Any other ideas you have would be welcome. Thanks! -Josh
Hi Josh, all feedback must be made within the thread for all the designers to see... unfortunately, haha.
I'll get to work on the changes.

Medigraph- I like what you've done. Can you please show me darker color variation?
Other designers- I'm leaning toward a design with a logo image that is separate from the text. Text on the same line or directly underneath is preferrable.
Also, does anyone have any ideas to represent the concept of trading/exchanging?

I have a couple ideas for you to modify stuff you've shown me:
version #3- Can you box out a "T" and the "U" with the up arrow together?
version #9 - Can you box out that arrow w/windows and place in front or above the text?
Let me know. Thanks!

If you take your last design and make TU box bigger/longer, could you make the blue arrow(body of the "t") look more like a skyscraper? Maybe you could add some windows like the in some of the other designs...
Let me know. Thanks!

Bogglins-
thanks for your entry. i really like the logo. we'd need to work on the colors. i'm not sure the orange/blue scheme works with my new website templates (see links to them below). i haven't decided which i'll be using yet...
are you able to set the logo off to the left side of the text in some fashion?
Unorthodox-
i am focused now on having a recognizable logo that is separate from the name of the company. do you have any concepts for a logo to put along side or above the "Trade Up 1031" text?
If it helps the designers, you can see the 2 templates I bought to go with the new logo for the website...here (http://www.templatehelp.com/preset/pr_preview.php?pr_code=93nDnK8biLzso29GVwa6Ffy7QM5 05k&i=4036&tab=30)

FYI...the name of my company is "Trade Up 1031", not 1301.
Anyway, Medigraph's 3 designs and the entries from eziey are my favorites so far. I would be interested if anyone else had design concepts similar to these.
Thanks!

Hi Paula-
Sorry for the delay. I would like to see a color scheme you think would work with this (http://www.templatehelp.com/preset/pr_preview.php?i=12972&pr_code=93nDnK8biLzso29GVwa6Ffy7QM505k) template. Maybe something in red/silver/black? You tell me.
Otherwise, I think its pretty close to done already.
Thanks!

Hi,
Here are a few options.
If you are going to use that globe I think some blue in the logo would compliment it.
Let me know if you would like to see any other color combinations.
Thanks, Paula :)

Paula-
i think you're right about keeping blue in it. the first one still looks the best, but i don't like that aqua.
could you show version1 to me with a replacement for the aqua color in the logo...maybe a steely grey/blue or baby blue color?
