Hello,
I have a web site design already done and really like it, except for the colors. I need a professional to review the design and come up with a proper color scheme.
Here is a screenshot:

I definitely do not like the blue background, and I am also not fond of the yellow navigation.
Here are my suggestions:

Hi Lori,
Is there a better way of representing the scheme so I can understand which is which - i.e. which color is for background, which for titles etc.? Perhaps you can include a similar color bar created from the current palette... this would really help me matching them.
Thank you!

Here is my suggestion. Simple and bold, creating more of a 'brand' feel by intergrating the logos colours into the layout.
This would be the "vivid" scheme:

Hi Lori, clink and Elena!
Thank you for your posts.
I am not quite sure exactly what feedback to provide... the situation is simple - there is the site draft, it is OK, we need colors.
Unfortunately I can't invent a good color scheme, but I definitely can tell if one is or is not appropriate. What we really need is a bunch of fresh ideas, from which to pick one or two. :D
From the examples above I don't think bright red on blue is going to work for us. Neither the too 'hot' orange. I kind of like Elena's first idea, especially the 2 shade background. But still it's not that.
Thanks again and please go on.

Hi Elena,
Thanks for all the new examples - they are all nice, but not quite fit our specific needs; I think they are more sutable for an art site, or something like that ;)
I still like your first version most and I'd like you to continue in that direction, if possible. It somehow reminds me of http://www.456bereastreet.com/ which I like very much.
Meanwhile I am rising the bid to $100, in order to attract more activity on the project.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Thanks, Elena, for all the work. Although there is no winning project, your first idea served as a source of inspiration and we ended up with a new color scheme, so you are the winner in this case. I guess this ends the bid. Too bad there was not enough activity.
Eugene
Project Update: This project has been moved to the Archives.
Client, Elena has agreed to recieving $50 as the winner and I will be refunding the other $50.
