Hi,

I know you have heard form me a few times already, but I thought a post might help answer some more questions. As a new member, I did not know what to expect when I set up my contest for a logo. I was SO pleased at the talent and response to my contest.

I originally set a very vague deadline of mid-September. Then with the quality of desiigns received, I changed my deadline and gave 3 day notice to end my contest.

Question 1: I have some great designs. But there are a few I requested the artists to make a few slight changes and did ot hear back. Can I assume that they are not interested? I am trying to get clear on the procedures and don't want to expect unreasonable response times... but I don't want to wait for a revision if the artist is no longer interested either.

Question 2: If an artist submits a design that didn't meet your original criteria but you can use the desing for another promotion, can you pay both of them? And then ask for small revisions to make the two logos selected blend a little more with your theme? I respect the artists, and don't want to ask one to copy anothers idea.

I would appreciate a quick response if possible because my contest ends tomorrow. (I guess I should go back and add a time). Maybe that could be in the guidelines, ask new member to state a deadline with a time, I didn't think of it until now!

Thanks! Rocky :)

Answer 1: There are many factors contributing how quickly a revision is made. Most likely if it's been 2 or 3 days, yes, I would say they are not interested or too busy to find the time. There's also the chance they may be out of town or having computer problems. If you really like one and the designer has not submitted their revision, you can trust that they will make that revision (at no charge) if they are chosen as the winner. We want the contest holder to be completely satisfied.

Answer 2: If you pay the same amount to one as you do the other that would be fine. You would need to pay the additional amount the same way you did when you deposited the prize money the first time.

Thanks Palmer!!

It helps to have this information. I respect the artists time frames and I wanted to make sure I was following the proper procedures! :D

You can be sure that I will recommend your site to my friends and buisness owners. I have thoroughly enjoyed participating, not only for my logo, but I love to follow what the artists have done for others. There is so much talent represented here!

Great job and a great site
