You all are doing such a great job on the Otimum Wellness logo that I decided to see what you come up with for a new logo for us to implement in the new year.

Company: Name Allsold.ca
Tag Line: Canada's Big Deal
Services: We sell it all, Ebay Drop off Store, Commercial Trading Assistant, Live Auctions, Office Furniture & equipment

Logos I like Tend to be Brilliant in contrast, simple Text, Original Graphics, Well laid out. Distinct.

We will gladly give credit for the Design Outpost and Designer on the Vehicle Wrap & Website. (Must Supply their own artwork, if this poses a problem I can recomend a great place to get it done at...)

Blue Cherry - Nice & clean but looks like a ballot

Blessserville - it seems to get lost in the BarCode

One thing that is missing is the Consignment / ebay reseller / auctioneer hook in all the logos, Something that would show more of what we are about would be great.

Perhaps you can offer a little more insight into what it is you actually sell, who your specific target audience might be, and why they'd buy from you over another seller? - it's all invaluable to getting the right message across rather than just hoping for the best.

Hi Joshua: Striking impression but very Generic and would not stand out against a lot of other Canadian Logos. The Hint of the Globe is interesting but confuses the layout. Thanks Darrell

I am afraid the Price tag idea doesn't work for me. To much in retail signifies the Tag, ie. Best Buy.

Also just as a general Note, A lot of the posts are incorporating the Maple Leaf[SIZE=6]. Although sinonymous(?) with Canada, The .ca signifies the same and is already a part of our name. Unless it is a key component neccesary to complete the logo I don't know if it is required.

I like all three of yours, Especially the ebay colored one.
One of the Questions that was put to me was how would people read the A. is it Aii. Even though I know what it is , How others will interpret it is my Worry.

I love the Idea of the Gavel but There are better gifs out there that look more balanced, I would also like to see this more incorporated within rather than on top of the design. Does this make sense???

Using the ebay colors in the logo is great, But would this be a copywrite issue?? Is there a way around this. I know as a Registered ebay trading assistant that we can use the Trading Assitant that includes the ebay logo in our advertising but it i not advisable.

I think that using the colors as part of our logo might be OK. The recognition of what we do is there.

Also The Tag, .ca could be slightly different.

Thanks Darrell. Ebay cannot control the use of the colors. The only way it would be an issue is if you were using the same letters in the same format. I'll give you some more options on the "L"s this weekend. How do you feel about the gavel? I think that the ebay colors gives a stronger impression. Personally, I don't think that most people connect a gavel with an auction because most auctions are online these days. I'll see what I can come up with.

We will sell almost anything from
collectables to computers, office goods to Tools, You name it.

We take a complete scenarion or Business and liquidate the assets.

We have done everything from a Pet store to Furniture manufacturers, including computer stores, diecast model stores, Quads to Remote control Planes. Jewelery to Shoes.

Our customer that we want to target are the general populace that have items of value or work at a company in transition, Moving Growing, downsizing or Closure.

We are the only Full service marketer of Secondary product conducting All Manners of service for the resale of product from Live Auctions to Brokerage and Ebay.

Great, The Gavel historically has been part of the auction industry advertising for a long time. Since the Civil war Ended and the Colonels sold off the confederate army assets and north's surplus.

It would definetly tie in the Live auction Idea to What we are all about. Live auction is our largest revenue stream by far.

The Ebay Colors are great. I would however like to see the Black more of a navy blue. The Red A with a smaller maple leaf might make it more readable to the unfamiliar future client.

I love your Clean neat lines but find the .ca hard to read.
I think that we have to be carefull about differentiating from a .com as we do not have the access to that URL.

Hi Jeff.

We are still having a problem with The A in All.
People have a hard time reading it.

Maybe if you could 1/2 size the Leaf into only the bottom portion of the A and still use a Triangle or something to show the upper empty area.

The gavel there doesn't work for me gets lost in the Black. Any other ideas on where to put it.
What about as a underlin to the name, There are a lot more Gifs of gavels that are not so daintyor plain in the handle that could be used.

Personally I Like version 4 best, Others tend to go with 5.

I think Having the red our front detracted from the Ebay theme.

Could you make the revisions to the A & Gavel and Submit it with the All in Blue & Black, Pleas adjust the Canada's best deal to match.

Hi Jeff, The Twisted Gavel definetly does not work.
I actually liked the swoosh that you had previosly.

I was thinking that it should go under the Allsold with a straight handle and in one of the already used colors.

This one is really elaborate compared to the 1st.

I agree. Having the handle under the AllSold doesn't work well either. The handle gets too long and the end of the gavel just hangs there. I think that version 8 and 9 work better. Sometimes adding everything in just ends up being too much.

I like the A now, although you went the oposite of what i was thinking.

I think the anvil could work.
If you can find another Gif that is a little less fancy, convert to the same color, Pobably black, make the sold a little smaller, and place the handle under the sold
Put the .ca Higher on the D to allow for more room for the Gavel head.

Thats what I was thinking. I would appreciate it.

When you prepare the downloads for us, Could you please include the following:


I will need a copy with a fine shadow all around the image as it will be going on like colored vehicles. a White & a Silver should be good.

a copy of all all the variences you have done. I Still like the Black All and we may incorporate it in the future.

a seperate gif of the latest gavel. It's a nice Design.

Can I also get them in .cdr? This printer says thats his prefered file type. (He might be a little archaic).


If there is anything else that you can think of that we need?

Do you Want your Designed By "" placed on the Vehicle Banners. if so Please put it in the downloads as well.

How do we get title or ownership & rights to the project?
