This contest is for $300 and is for a template for a hair salon.

There is no existing website.

The sitemap for the website and information that will go on the site is included.

I need a professional and eye catching website.

This is what I'd like to see delivered for the $300:

1. The site (and page) templates;
2. The optimized HTML pages ready for content entry;

There are 8 stylists that will have bios and 1 manager.

The target audience will be mothers with children and teenagers.

The salon likes these colors especially: burgandy, beige and other creamy colors, but don't limit yourself.

Please be as creative as you'd like.

The only current image I have is the logo. It is in Illustrator 7 format here (http://www.xogent.com/doremi/doremi-logo_Illv7.zip).

Hey!,
I have started a template. I tried to make something original and unique, while staying professional. But i'm not sure it is what you are looking for. The Color sheme can easily be changed, but you can have an idea of the overall idea/layout...
Please tell me if I am on the right track, or if I just need to make something completly different.

You may now load the "main.html" file and click "price listing services" to see how the page would progress. Once on the services/listing page you can also click home to take you back to the previous page.


Everything is graphics right now, so load time might be a bit slow for the time being unless this design was chosen and most graphical area's holding content text would be converted.

It may just be me - but something weird happened to your image when I viewed it. half of it went grey and misaligned.

You do not have to have Illustrator to view or edit the .AI file. You can open it in both Fireworks and Photoshop.

I was finally able to show the designs to the hair salon. They picked the winner on the spot.

Congratulations, xteriormotive! You a winner! (vague reference to The Simpsons)

There was some touch up they wanted, and they still need to get you all of the stylist bios and pictures, but we can discuss that via eMail.
