search ebay for gas map or gas attendant and look at the designs and fonts on the old promo items
3b) What colors or color schemes would you like? Colors and design should be very 1940's / 1950's. Think 40's & 50's gas stations. Remember the old station that had the big trianular awning in the front then a huge sign wall coming out of the top of the building? Or the big porcelain sign hanging from the ornate post with a pair of lights shining down or up on it to iluminate it? My logo is green. Would like to stay greens, greys ... Highlights of yellow , orange or red ok. Don't go too boxy.
4b) List the Navigation links for your Site:

The idea would be to have a site that although we are selling screen printing (primarily t-shirts) we play on our name GarageWear. When I had the logo drawn I told the artist to think 50's gas station porcelain signs. We started our business in the garage hence the name. We have an additional domain that will be another project later Route6Tee6.com. It will be for our pre-printed line of shirts that focus on automobilia designs. I really like the idea of a service station attendant or the likes on the design.
My domain is www.garagewear.net. You can see my logo there. Attached are some old maps that have the basic idea of what I would want. A "Gas" sign on the left with smaller signs as the navigation buttons and an "Attendant" in the lower right hand corner. I think I like the Pure sign post the best. Maybe a sign somewhere that says "Always Open" or "Open 24 Hours" In the middle would be the display area that changes with click of the navigation buttons. We are even trying to find an old gas station to move the shop into.Think old Texaco, Coca-Cola, Alka-Seltzer men ... or to really get the point that I am saying Gomer and Goober from the Mayberry Fillin Station. By the way we are in Alabama so no redneck jokes. We are normal folks here!
Thanks,
Bill
