We would like to obtain a logo for our Foreign Law Firm, Wakely Foreign Law Office, based in Japan by January 15, 2007.
Below, please find a project summary.
Project Summary:
1.1. Text in Logo
What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
“Wakely Law” should be in the main logo, “Wakely Foreign Law Office” should be in a separate, distinguishable font, below *Wakely Law*
1.2. Type of Services Offered
We offer business law advice to Japanese companies operating abroad and to multinational companies operating in Japan. We provide government relations and liaison services between foreign organizations and the various levels of the Japanese Government. We provide advice and support to sovereign countries, including advice and assistance on development (design, construction, financing) of foreign embassies, especially the building and facilities, in Japan.
1.3. Length of Practice in Japan
the founder of Wakely Foreign Law Office has been living in Japan for almost 30 years and practicing law here for more than 20 years.
1.4. Purpose of Logo
We wish to simplify the firm name and standardize its image.
1.5. Deadline for choosing designer
We wish to have the LOGO delivered on or about the 15th of January.
1.6. Audience Profile:
Our audience is multinational corporations, institutional investors, private equity funds, sovereign national governments and governmental organizations thereunder.
1.7. Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
The perception and ‘tone’ of the logo must not be ostentatious. It must not include any symbol’s often associated with law firms (scales of justice etc.,), nor do we want any ‘rising sun’ imagery which mimics national symbols of Japan or elsewhere. This is not meant to be a ‘selling’ image, but rather a confirmation of the long term and established abilities of this firm.
1.8. Colours
There is no particular preference except to say that any document produced with this logo is likely to be photocopied and/or faxed which will render true colours meaningless.
1.9. Use of Logo
On website, letterheads and business cards
We look forward to providing you with any additional information, and selecting the best logo.
Thank you very much!
