Hi everyone,

I am excited to see all the creative ideas that will be coming. I have used this site before and was very pleased with the creativity and the promptness of the artists. What we are looking for is a logo that incorporates are name in a catchy design. The colors that we are looking to incorporate is red, silver, and black. The deadline for the contest is 9/1/2003 . The prize is $60.00 .

Hi to all:

I just want to say there is some great creativity at this site. Keep up the great work. :tup: I will make some comments on the contestants drawings.

DynaGirl: Thankyou for your post: This is an interesting design, the logo it looks like is establishing a point of being outside the box or being irregular, the font is little to boldish then what we are looking for a more corporate "Professional" font, This is a good start!

SB Design: Thank you for your post: I like the "excavator" logo design, the colour~ design is fluent in the design. Could we try a background design with the excavator in the background. We like something that is catchy, gets the point across ,and shows the color well. Another thought ,that we had an idea of using "checkered flags" to sport a racy design. Keep up the great work

wwwzone: Thankyou for your post: I like the bulldozer idea, and the color mix. Could we try the bulldozer as a backgorund design / and maybe incorporate it with the wording. I think actually incorporating a piece of machinery in the wording of the company would be neat! :)
ElKootcho: Thank you for your post also. I like the hard hat! The font is what we are looking for also. This is a really nice uniform design. Could we try the wording outlined in silver?? Just a thought. Also I am not sure if we could try a logo as a background. Something on the lines of a checkered flag or a piece of machinery. This is a great start! :D

Hi Everyone: The designs are getting very interesting and creative. We like. I will make a few suggestions to the posts. I look foward to seeing more designs!

SB Design: The concept of the logo is getting closer to what we are looking for. It is just we are looking for a design that is fluent- in it's design instead of seperate arts just mated together. Design A & D is a good start, maybe if we could try some different lettering types, and I am not sure you can use the bucket (or arm) on the excavator as part of the wording? That would look neat! Also the circle design is a neat concept, but could we use the flags in a more (part of the design) instead of just placed on there. It is looking well, keep up the good work!

Elkootcho: The checkered design is looking great, that is the design idea that we are looking for, you think we could try a patriotic theme with the American Flag, and the font in a few different variations. Maybe some chrome or more silver? Just a suggestion. This is a great start ,and I think we are on the same page as design ideas.thanks

WWWZone: thankyou for your post: We are liking the (zone 2-4) the swosh idea is a neat theme, and makes the picture a little more "fast". I think if we try different variations on the background, or more of a Patriotic theme? Look foward to seeing some more. Thanks

Are you looking for a full-blown 4-color logo or do you have a limit on the number of colors?

Elkootcho: They both look great! The all-out four color looks great, it is very appealing and racy design. You think we could create a blue border line around the flag ,such as the first flag logo. Keep up the great work.

Hi All,

Thanks for the great posts ,this is going to be hard for us to decide. After these revisions, I am sure it will be very tough. I am going to change the deadline date to Tuesday, 9-2. We didn't realize the deadline was labor day, so We figured you have other things to do.

wwwzone: I like this design, it is very catchy, and very contemporary. The only comments ,would be If we could try a border or outline around the logo.

SBDesign: Thank you for your different variations. Letter (J) is the one that is fitting our description, could you try centering the logo between the flag. It's looking great :D

Hi everyone: Thank you for your posts and designs. They were creative! We have decided a winner, though it wasn't easy because of the great talent here. The winner is Elkootcho. The logo met our requirements, was catchy, simple, and the color variations look great. There are a few small revisions that we ask, such as the hi-rez ,etc. . But I want to thank the contestants and I will spread the great news about designoutpost.com :tup:
