Men & Women who can & afford to have high standard of appreciation of not just quality products but items that are so unique that they would acknowledge the uniqueness of the item they choose to purchase as the likely chances are unless finely copied no one else will possess the same products thus making not just the item but the possessor of it unique in a sense.

Who would you like to add to your audience?
Men & Women with aspirations to acquire a sense of unique taste in owning one-off personal items; be it a piece of jewellery, an item of clothing, a pair or shoes or a tie but what makes it special that only they & no one else will possess a duplicate of the piece of item.

What type of logo would you like?
Think simple as possible: Nike, D&G, DKNY – as simple as possible but still yet instantly recognisable.

OR

A = silhouette of a man standing tall with legs slightly apart, it represents ACE and then
S = silhouette of a woman laying the shape of ‘S’ hence representing SIA.

ACESIA

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
The name of the brand and company is selected to be ‘ACESIA’, that can be broken in two parts ‘Ace’ and ‘Sia’. The first part means best, winner & mainly associated with men; the second part means the best, first, virtuous woman – hence the best of men & best of the women.

An idea is to have a man standing in shape of the symbol ‘A’ with legs slightly wide apart so as to give impression of the alphabet ‘A’. For the second symbol, to have a woman as if laying in the shape of the alphabet ‘S’. Hence if artistically done this can be achieved with man in a tuxedo type suit & woman in bare satin/silk long dress probably with a flowing scarf in her hand.

Hi Titania,

Thanks for posting the proposed draft logo in reponse to the advert.

It seems that you are the only one who did manage (bother) to read through the desired specification of having the requirement of male & female figures as part of the logo, much appreciated.

You are on the right track and I like the aspect of 'A' & 'S' represented in the shadows; but the figures seem very much like microsoft clipart more then anything else, therefore if you are willing and would consider to redesign that aspect of it then it would be great to work with you on this.

both figures are 100% mine, didn't copy them from any clipart or draw...
maybe you can show me some samples or be more specific... do you want more detail on them?

Hi Titania,

My apologies for not replying sooner as I was away from UK and did not have access to my laptop.

I believe that you are on the right track and have the right idea - but I am looking for something more exclusive, rare & unique in the design.

What I meant that it looked like a 'clipart' from Microsoft Powerpoint presentation software is it that, it look of the pictures of man & woman feel not so real, so maybe a little more realistic images with fairer hair for the woman and silver/purple as in sample files somewhere in the pictures or logo.

I like the shadow aspect of the 'A' and 'S' as reflected off their bodies but I'm looking for something a little more elegant and inspiring that when looked at is considered with awe.

How about few/couple of more different designs from you and we will choose from them.

My apologies for the delayed reply again but I have not been back in London for last couple of months due to working across in Europe.

Please advice if you are able & happy to make modifications to the picture of the woman in the logo, making her near as possible look (face) as the link to the reference pictures;

The dress you made is perfect as is the manner of her standing leaning on the letter 'E'. Hence I am looking to seek changes only on face and maybe a hair to be slightly more straighter but still wavy.

Hi Titania,

Thank you for the prompt rework on this version.
I have to request couple of enhancements on the 'girl' only.

1: If possible than to make her height as equal or close as possible as the man.

2: Her neck/face to be fully facing straight as the mans face (it is still okay for her to be standing on her side but just as if her neck/face is turned as if looking straight out into the picture).

3: Somehow to give impression of white/silver sparkles in the scarf that she is holding and lengthen the length of the scarf from both sides - and also the similar sparkles on the mans waistband & jacket collar.

Hi Titania,

Thanks for the update and my sincere apologies again for not being able to come back with feed back sooner.

First what is already perfect is, the man and the font letters.

Though some more enhancements requested to get this as close to ideal as possible: [As the website is mainly for women initially & mens to be added later]

1: The girl to be looking out more centrally direct (similar to the man) into the picture - more importantly to make her look even more prettier (beautiful) if possible with whatever face/feature details you need to use.

2: The hair style of the girl, it is a good improvement from previous versions but please may I request a more up-to-date Open Flowing Modern hairstyle, without a fringe if possible; long flickback acceptable. (Just to see a different aspects, how about a hint of auburn colour in her hair, similar to as you have grey in the guys hair?)

3: A silver bracelet on the right wrist of the girl, along with a simple short silver necklace around her neck.

4: The shadow letters of 'A' and 'S' to be a little more prominent and equally seperated from 'C' and 'I' letters without crossing over or interferance.

That is all for now, and I really do feel that we are getting closer to finishing this soon withing next one/two versions.

Thank you for such fast changes and as a surprise quick feedback from me for a change.

Further enhancements request to get it perfect:

Point 3 from previous note: A silver bracelet on the right wrist of the girl, along with a simple short silver (chocker) necklace around her neck.

Point 4 from previous note: The shadow letters of 'A' and 'S' to be a little more prominent and equally seperated from 'C' and 'I' letters without crossing over or interferance. ['A' is still a little too close to 'C' and 'S' is overlapping 'I' + the length of the shadows of 'A & S' to be slightly longer.

Refinements on girls hair/face: please see this link for auburn colour and also for the European looking features of the girl as at present (no disrespect intended) but still look too much oriental - http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/acesia/Red_Rules

Refinement on features: Eyes to be more almond shaped with eye browes of a redhead are naturally of similar but softer shade of red.
Eyes to be soft sea green with eye lashes.
Lips to be between these two initially drawn (not orange or red) but pink.

No worries, I should say thank for your patience to you & sorry for my delays.

Yes that is so much better, with my sister (who's website this is going to be) and I do feel that it's 97% there but with very minor changes required:

1: Point 4 from previous x2 note: The shadow letters of 'A' and 'S' to be a little more prominent and equally seperated from 'C' and 'I' letters without crossing over or interferance. ['A' is still a little too close to 'C' and 'S' is overlapping 'I' + the length of the shadows of 'A & S' to be slightly longer. [I haven't received an update on the logo name, if there were any changes made on it by you].

2: Eyes to be a shade more 'Green', soft green;

3: A four (4) pointed bright star (similar as on the dress) to be on the centre of necklace and on bracelet;

4: If possible (but if not then don't worry) to remove the single hair falling on her left eye that is seperate from rest of the hairs.

I think that is it for the girl and I would also appreciate to see the face close up of the guy if possible.

Thanks again for your effort and hope that we can finish this by next version number.

Hi Titania,

Yes, that's ever so close to being just right.

Just couple of last minor modifications, when you remove the single hair strand falling by girls left eye, if you could make her eyebrows ever so slightly longer & equal on both her eyes (as our eyebrows are always longer than our eyes).

Also her right appears to have three fingers rather than four (with no space between middle two fingers) so please enhance that details - as I might be mistaken because I am looking at a lower resolution picture.

The guys left eye to have no glint (light reflection) in it, so to make it same as his right eye totally dark with no light reflection - or to make them equal in the same manner.

I hope that this would be the last of my comments and version 10 would be the finished product of which we both can be proud of together.

Hi Titania,

It is so close to being just perfect but I have to request some more minor modifications:

Version 10: The design of the logo is perfectly completed, now just need to get the colours of background, foreground and shadows right.

If you can kindly make the colour of the font (in version 10 only) as shown in the attached .jpeg file [soft pink] with silver/white shadows, but leaving the font as it is designed by you -and- for it to be in foreground as if embossed (raised) -and- the background to be of the same purple/black colours as shown in the examples (purple in centre & getting darker on top/bottom edges to black).

Version 11:
1: The guys eyes to be dark brown -and- we need a glint (light refelection) back in both this eyes otherwise he seems to have dead eyes.

2: The 'S' shadow to be ever so slightly more seperated from 'I' but not very much as already it seems that there is too much a gap between the girl standing and the letter 'I'; so objective to seperate the shadow & bring them a little closer if possible.

I hope & expect that these addition/changes should finalise this logo design project.

Sorry to rush you but would it be possible to achieve these results by Wednesday, as I am looking to finalise some other designs for website templates?

Hi Titania,

I know and I apologise in advance for my fault of expecting absolute perfection but we are so close, so it would be a shame not to get it 100% accurate. Thank you for your patience with me on this.

Ver.13: More purple and less of black on edges as shown in examples above with purple of more velvet look/feel (like Cadburys chocolate wrappers).

Ver.12: The shadow 'S' (I know my fault again for asking to change again) to be similar to in ver.11 so we can see at least 3/4 of it behind the girl but without touching the 'I' and both 'A&S' shodow to be exactly same height.

The guys eyes are brown with black centre (pupil - brown; corena - black) with just two pixels of gray/white glint.

The lines on either side of guys mouth to be reduced by just two pixels from each side.

I gave tried to have a go at the above changes myself but with basic software just to show what I mean to say - see atatched.

Hopefully, hopefully last version this time around.

Okay if you do insist on getting it 100% perfect then there are two minor things that I am still not satisfied with and I was thinking of doing them myself after getting the originals from you - but than again my graphic designing skills are nothing compared to yours, so you better have another go at it.

Now I maybe wrong as I am looking at minimum resolution versions:
version 14: the colour in background does not seem to be smooth & velvet look/feel as I had posted on 6/5 earlier on in two examples; and the foreground colours of the logo too seem a little bland, there is surely more ways to make the colour more radiant as in the examples I posted.

version15: the eyes of the guy again, I know my fault again for perisiting with it. Imagine a round marble with clear outline & inlay of softlight brown with a black centre corena and a 1-2 pixel gray/white reflection on the corena - the outline of black seemed to have been missing in the last version and with more black than brown.

I do apologise sincerely for if I am being annoying but you're so good at it and I am sure that you rather that it be just perfect & flawless, but what is that is perfect in life, nothing but a pursuit of perfection.
