Submitting Completed Ad Artwork
Electronic files are accepted in the following applications on either MAC (preferred) or PC platforms to the exact sizes indicated on the directory layout sheet. Template documents can be downloaded for Quark XPress.

PLEASE READ THE LAYOUT SHEET FIRST

layout:
http://www.woodlandsdirectory.com/DigitalSpecs.pdf

http://www.woodlandsdirectory.com/download.htm

When submitting ads in their native programs, listed above, be sure to include all imported objects (graphics and photos) as well as fonts. Only PostScript or Type 1 fonts are accepted. In some instances, it may be necessary for Interfaith to substitute fonts. When using Adobe Illustrator, please convert all fonts to paths. When using Adobe Photoshop, flattened files are preferred.

Files created in programs NOT listed above should be submitted as an Acrobat PDF file. Please ensure that the elements of the ad as well as the final ad layout file are saved in HIGH RESOLUTION and fonts are embedded.

We do not accept files created in Microsoft Publisher
or Corel Draw.

Submitting Artwork for Ad Creation
Digital photos must be a minimum of 300 dpi and saved as a JPEG, EPS or TIFF file. All elements of a full-color ad must be specified as process color (CMYK), not RGB.

Bitmap images must be 600-1200 dpi and saved as a TIFF file.

Line art illustrations and company logos should be in vector format and saved as an EPS (preferred) or TIFF file.

Note: Photos and graphics downloaded from the web are 72 dpi, low resolution, and although they look great on the Internet, they do not meet printing specifications.

Sending Files
Zip or CD
Please provide the document layout file along with all graphics and fonts on zip disk or CD and mail to Interfaith of The Woodlands, c/o Directory Department, 4242 Woodrush Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77381. A laser proof MUST be provided along with the electronic files. If you want the disk or CD to be returned, please include your company name, address, and phone number.

Email
Please include your ad specs and sales representative’s name when submitting your file. Indicate your company name in the subject line or your email.

Files up to 4 MG in size may be emailed to:
art@woodlandsinterfaith.org

It's white paper that is printed yellow?????? So, there is a yellow border. Here is an online copy of their directory if it helps.

I like your idea in message # 9. I would like to see it without “Get Back In The Swim” to add more room in the ad. I would like to see Weekly Maintenance, Repair, Tile & Stone Cleaning in the center. Move the website to the top. And add this to the bottom: We Service the Spring, Woodlands, Champions, and Tomball areas

Another version. Since this is only 3 7/8 wide ad you do not want to have anything smaller than 8pt type or it will not show up in the yellow pages due to flooding of color and registration. I kept everything big enough to make a presence.
