hi! I am looking for a pineapple graphic to incorporate into a logo. This should be an Illustrator file. While I am a designer, I am not too fluent (or talented) with drawing in Illustrator, so I am looking to you experts for some help.

If you aren't familiar with the term "botanical", I am looking for something like the attached file-- a hand-drawn style, a little old-fashioned, with very fine detailed lines. No color is neccessary. Ideally, it would be just black stokes with transparent fill so that I can modify the stroke color later on and also so I can place on different color backgrounds. The drawing attached is a little unbalanced, so I'd prefer it to be more symmetrical. Nothing cartoon-y, this should look realistic and elegant, like a five-star hotel might use.

I hope that this is enough information to go on. If not, I'm sure you'll let me know.

thanks much!

I did not draw this, but it is from some clip art that I own. It is an Illustrator file...

hi! Thanks for sending this. It isn't quite what I'm after, but will allow another clarification-- no extraneous stuff at the bottom or around the pineapple should be present. I'd like for the details to be sharper and finer lines. hope this continues to help... much thanks.

Here is a simple black outline that can modified easily.

Hey there! Here's my entry. It's a bit drafty but when redone in illustrator everything will be very polished! :D

Great work! I have gone through a bit more revising and have decided to use this image specifically (attached). So, all someone needs to do is to put together this exact image in Illustrator (in such a way that I might be able to convert the fill and line colors later on).

This will sit on a black background. But it can be done in a way that would work on any background.

thank you!

hi! The two pineapples that most closely match up to what I have in mind are from Chelle and Christian Sanfiel. Christian's version in Illustrator may work, if there is enough detail and shading in the leaves and the base of the pineapple. Chelle's design also might work, if it could be built with greys rather than colors.

I like the photographic (realistic) style as these are. It will end up being used in shades of grey, with some subtle gold highlights, and sit on a black background.

hope this helps get us final!

thank you,
Laurel

Yes, the 2 of you work out any minor revisions (if needed) and then she sends the files to you.

Thanks... tell a friend about us :)
