We are a christian/rock/worship band doing ministry out of our local church. We need a logo for our web site and for some promotinal things like t-shirts, stickers, flyers, stuff like that. Our web adress is anygivenday.org (http://www.anygivenday.org/). We have been together for about 4 years. We do travel some but mostly local. We need somthing that will be recognizable from others, but not real "churchy". It needs to be in a simple form as I do all of our work on my comp. We need somthing by the end of March. Thanks

I think that it is a little to girly...not so sure about the hearts. I do like the bold/regular in the type.Thanks for workin on it. See what else you can come up with.

I did and I actually sent an email to the the outpost, we are not ready to make a decision yet without seeing some other designs.We all think that it looks good...but just dosent "Pop". Another person said it looked too much like a lower back tatoo. I like breaking up the name using the color and I like the larger V in the middle. Can you continue to work on it for us? We like your work but it is just not there yet. Do you have any other ideas? We are extending the deadline into April.

I have plenty of other ideas, but would need more direction. What style of logo are you looking for? Do you have examples of other logos (don't have to be related to what you do) that have a similar feel?

I like it all on one line, with some color. I like the idea of a large "v" in the middle. It needs to kinda pop and if our name was taken off you would maybe still know that it is anygivenday. I have an idea that I have done myself(VERY basic) I need to send it to you as a word doc.

Here is what I had... I don't really like this one, there is not enough to it. It seems that some of us are on the same line of thinking. What about the V in more of an abstract form with some sort of pattern behind it... then if the rest of the letters are removed there is still some sort of a logo?Yall are the designers, somebody make it happen.

Ok, now I think we are getting somewhere...I like the v, the circle and the colors...I am not diggin the flower like swirls or the font. I am thinkin of something a little more edge like for the design in the background.

I think we are moving backward now...it is still the same old V just alittle bigger...the rest looks ok but not wow. I want to be able to remove the rest of the letters and leave the V and the (A) design to act as our logo when the full name is not needed.

Sorry, I read my reply and I think I made myself confusing... "the design" or "a design"

I think everyone maybe having a hard time trying to incorporate something in the very middle of a word and having that be a stand alone graphic on it's own. Considering it is the V which I'm not sure if it has any significance on it's own. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Anyway, here is one more attempt from me. I'm basing it off of the blood of Christ and His nail scarred hands.

Well...no the v has no significance. It just happened to fall in the middle. I think expressions had it right...I just didnt like the flower like stuff. I like the font you are using...it is simple. You got me thinkin though...what if you took the same splash of red but put two spike like nails over it to form the v...the would have to have that dull matalic look so you could tell what they were. What do you think about that? Then if we pulled the rest of the words away you would have the crimson behind two nails...I dont know...

Freetime...lets go back to version 5. Make the splash a little bigger. Lets make it wider so it fits behind almost all of "Given". My drumber and I were looking at it last night...and we both like that one. I think we might be on to something.

Leave the rest of given black...the first one has more of a brush splatter and this one looks like it fell and splattered. I like the first if you can reproduce that bigger...I printed all of yours and I am meeting with the rest of the band tonight. We realy need to close this out! Thank you so much for your work!

Freetime, couple things the band talked about. On version six they would like to see nails that are a little more "Sharp" and kinda "Manly" they think it is two childlike. Do you know what a "cutnail" is? That is kinda what we have in mind. What about version 5 just like it is but the GI and EN be writen with nails? On Version 7, can you take the same graphic from version 5, use three of them side by side so they overlap and then inlarge the one in the middle? Then I think we might be getting the look we are wanting. I know that is a lot, and I know we are being alot of trouble! We are really trying to get what is best for our ministry!

We are STUCK! We are not really set on anything...nothing "POPS" to us. Everyone else in the band seems to be going back to Version 1a by jeff797. But it needs some work to it too. I like all the stuff that you(Freetime) have done...and you have done so much! I just don't know where to turn now. This is very important to us! We have alot of promotional stuff going out right now, we need to have our design on there instead of just a name. We don't want to change our design 6 months down the road. I would love to see any other ideas that you might have for us. Freetime, PLEASE be in prayer for us as you design and we decide.

We are in the charity forum under anygivenday. We have still not chosen a designer and we have been looking over all of the designs that were submitted and we came back to yours. On version 1a can you center the V over the star and then make the V bigger than the rest of the letters, dropping it just a little.

Ok...everyone in the band is not real sure about the second circle. Lets lose it and see what that looks like. Also can you take a look at message #33. That is a design that I did in paint. Can you reproduce it, change a little and make it a little cleaner.

Ok thanks. I also found a graphic that I think we want to try instead of the star...it's a crown of thorns. I am looking for somthing similar to whats on www.artzest.net its on logo3 and its titled Mosaic. It dosent need to look just like it but close and then the V will go over top of it. See what you can do...we are all starting to lean in the same direction now. I want to finish this one.
