WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?

This project is for a sell sheet template that I can print on my color laser printer.

WHAT BROUGHT ON THIS PROJECT?

In the past I had a small catalog designed here on Design Outpost and had 3,000 printed. I have only sent out half and it is now obsolete because of changes to my inventory. So I want to have a sell sheet template designed that I can put in my pictures as I get new merchandise and photograph them.

SAMPLE MATERIAL ALREADY BEING USED

Enclosed is the current format of the catalog designed here. ALso enclosed is the front and back of the sell sheet I designed myself and want to replace with your design.

Unlike my own design, where all the products are shown, your sell sheet will be a single product per two sided sheet.

DESIGN PARAMETERS

The front page will be the outside of the folded flyer. Like my current version, the cover will be the right half and the back cover will be the left.

FRONT COVER-This will be the Bathgems logo and an image of the particular vanity. The design should be simple and have a lot of white space. The reason for the white space is that the cost of color laser toner is high so white saves money.

BACK COVER-Like my current version, this will be a simple reminder that this is an internet business located at www.bathgems.com

INSIDE LEFT AND RIGHT-This is where your design skill comes in because I am not set on any particular style. Like the catalog example, measurements and a line drawing are required but the creation of the line drawing is not part of this project, just the overall format.

Our new sales strategy, which needs to be articulated with your layout, is that the purchase of that particular vanity involves a choice of several faucets and mirrors. One idea might be a Chinese menu, choose 1 from column A, B, and C.

The point is that the visual setup should speak to the reader and convey the idea of choice and flexibility. It does not need to beat them over the head though, it can be subtle. I like subtle.

There will be two prices, the basic solo which includes the vanity and choice of faucet, and the set which includes the vanity, faucet, and choice of mirror.

PROJECT OUTPUT

The front side will be a RGB tiff file so I can put new pictures into the template as needed. The inside, however, would be preferable as a Word document so I can edit the text. I can possibly work with a tiff though if you cannot create it in Word, but adding text in the image editing software I use is not the best for me.

I will answer all questions as quickly as they come in.

Thanks,

Steve

Well this is very disappointing. It is the second or third time that a project has languished due to lack of entries. The last few times I had to continuously bump my project back up to the top by making successive posts or upping the project reward. This time I decided to let nature take its course without hounding the designers and administrators.

I refer so many of my self-employed friends and customers to Design Outpost but now I think I will have to stop because this would be very embarassing to me if it happened to someone I gave a referral to.

Admin, please let me know what we need to do to refund my money on this project.

If you are still interested, I would like to participate in your contest. I am sure that designers just missed it, do not think that it was planned...

I am sorry but there was a deadline for a reason. I have decided to continue with my own design for the time being.

If I should need professional help with it in the future I will consider Design Outpost as one of my alternatives.

Sincerely,

Steve
