I think that the project that I am offering is somewhat easy but a two parter. I have the two pictures that I want to use. What I want is a way to design it so that it is more incorporated into the name of our business. I hope that this makes sense. In other words, I would like at least one of the pictures if not both to somehow become a part of the written name. The second part - in one of the attached pictures the color of the cap and gown is red. I would like that recolored black. I would also like the background taken out of whatever pictures are used. Due date Wed. 4/11/07.

OUr new location will be a college football town. HOwever, we need something that will work in the midwest, the south and every region - big city ie NY, LA, Miami and small cities like COlumbus, Ohio.
Perception/Tone/Guidelines:
What type of logo would you like?
Quality. Value. Experience.
Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
Green. To drive home the Irish last name. They will remember, I think the last name better if the color is an Irish green. Blue highlights/accents.
Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Yes. I am attaching two pictures. One is of a Golden Retriever in a graduation cap and gown. The other is a line of dogs sitting and staying. The Golden MUST be in the it, the line of dogs is preferred to be added.

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?
We give them quality and service. We are family owned and operated. We care about them and their dog.

Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
They are okay. One is a cartoon of a Bulldog. Mostly are pictures of personal dogs but they are just dogs not doing anything. I want people to look at our name and pictures and realize that we are a dog training school.
