Hi, pracus
Just saw your posting - delay in auto notification process.
Thanks for your design. Am contacting the folks who have primary control of the project, and will forward their feedback ASAP.

Welcome, guetizo -
Just been in contact with the others:
Very pleasing, clean design. Like the light-hearted nature of your logo.
But we need to have a more obvious 'flowers, vines, symbols illustrating aromas' presence as noted in our assessment.
You are on the right track.
Thanks,
Eddiy :)

Sorry for the delay, pracus -
Your design is positively elegant, but not readily apparent (for our customer base) how the symbol relates to the product name.
Font and colors are fine, but could you please make the music and perfume-aroma symbolism more concrete.
I know this is still a bit vague, but since there is nothing we have found in the marketplace to give us a graphic idea for our product, we rely on designers like you.
Thank you,
Eddiy :)

Hi, xpressions
Really good ideas - you've got both elements we wanted.
Now for our wish list of 'adjustments' to see "how would this look if..."
1- Music staff and stems on notes need to be thinner -they overpower the product name.
2- Extend length of music staff to incorporate more undulation, less flatness. We realize this will probably move the note placement.
3- Would like 5 flowers in total on the staff (placement & color as needed for balance).
4- Can you show us how the staff and vertical lines on the notes would appear in a SOLID deeper purple shade of the text color, and
5- THEN make the flower colors halftone instead of solid
6- Font is pleasing except for some spacing issues:
Can you manipulate it so that the 'y' in Lyrical is centered (away from the 'L' toward the 'r' -
In Fragrance, can you move the 'r' away from the 'F' since the mid-cross of the 'F' makes it confusing to read the word at first glance?
I think that covers everything we've talked over... Plenty of feedback, but if something is way off when you implement it, use your design judgment.
The night owls are signing off for now.
Thanks for your offering, xpressions -

Hey Everyone !
Thanks for your bounty of ideas. Just acknowledging them - will have to get the rest of the team's input.
djaka and blesseville: I know that the team will request a 'nature' symbolism incorporated into your design. Need an obvious representation for the aroma-fragrance aspect of the product.
All of you have chosen flowing, readable script fonts- a good job.
What a great way to start the day.
Thanks to all of you,

Welcome to the newest designers!
Want to let everyone know that I appreciate the minor additions that I knew I could ask you to do, and the designs will be viewed by others in the group later tonight.
Splunking your design is interesting, but a 2 color logo of lavender and light green is what the client wants to incorporate. Can you manage to do a quick fix for us to see?
OffbeatDesign, lookin' good.
You folks are making some hard decisions for us.
We are pleased that so many of you are interested in working with us,
Merci, will reconnect soon, I hope -

Hi, Cindy -
Thanks for your prompt alteration/addition.
Have another request:
I know the RGB vs PMS issue for colors, but in the case of your fine-line details, could you intensify the colors a bit so we can evaluate the over-all effect of your logos?

And Hello,Taldo -
Thank you for joining the parade.
We are still missing 2 important 'votes' from our group so that a decision can be finalized. It's been truly amazing what your design team has brought to us with such little initial direction from us.

Greetings, Blesseville -
Team is asking if there may be other casual script fonts that would be compatible with your graphic symbol in version 4.0 - Can you provide one or two options?
Also, can you change the green in 4.0 to a brighter (less yellow and more blue tone) perhaps something in the way of PMS 375?
Thank you,
Eddiy :)

Hi, Kaimere -
Got a glimpse of your post to our project early Fri AM before I had to leave quickly.
When I'd contacted the rest of the group, they said 'What new designer?' Went back to look, and it was gone... Also had a weird message concerning an admin issue, so I sent them an email and no answer yet.
Sorry I have no feedback for you AND have no idea what the problem was/is !

Thank you , lines of thought are an abstract L and F although i can fortify the F more ... The L is more the grace of a note and the F (Fragrance) is enhanced byt the Flower
eddiy
04-14-2007, 03:15 PM
Hi, Kaimere-
Hate to inject my own thoughts w/o input from the group, but I think the ephemeral nature of the L may be lost on our target audience. (for me, it reminded me of the stroke of a conductor's baton.)
The merging of colors is unique, and I know that the main folks desire a brighter green (w/o quite so much yellow). Yes, we are aware of the RGB vs PMS color issues, but still want to see how more vibrant colors would appear. And I am certain that the 2-color idea is what they desire because of the nature of the primary product represented in this single logo.
Just some thoughts,
Eddiy

Hello, pickalogo -
We appreciate your contributions to our project.
In our original request, you will see that we require some musical representation for this logo. And the name is Lyrical Fragrance - you have mistakenly put an L instead of an R as the 2nd letter in Fragrance.
Your colors in version 1 are more true to what we desire.
Thanks,
Eddiy :)

Hello:)
eddiy
04-16-2007, 11:38 AM
Welcome, tini1-
Thanks for looking in on our design project.
Although I have no final say for this project, I can re-iterate 2 objectives of this logo: 1) client wants to stick to only 2 colors, lavender and lt green. You color choices are fine, just 1 too many.
And 2) the nature of this product needs the green to be more involved in this logo than the lavender.
Seems top-heavy because of the flower - An idea: could you begin the music design at the left UNDER the 'rical', so that it fills the space between the 2 'tails' in the script font. That way, your idea of the flow of the music still ends up on a high curve (which is a good vibration).
Just some tips for your consideration,
Thanks,
Eddiy :)

I would only agree with 'heavier' in the context of your earlier postings to our project. This new offering, I feel, is still representative of all the elements we want our logo to convey.
Still working to get 'all eyes' to view the many offerings from this resourceful design team.

Greetings and 'Mayday' to all Design Team magicians:
After many discussions, we need more artistic input from any and all willing designers for additional ideas.
Our client with the most invested in this concept, wishes to see a logo that is 'simple and elegant', 'uncluttered'. We think that is going to be a challenge in order to maintain the intended representations for the buying public - the music and aroma connotations.
The client seems to favor a flowing horizontal look over all when pointing out certain logos that he favored:
In message #15 (medigraph 2.0), he would like to see a definite rose as the flower aspect in that design (or any others).
In message #22 (splunking 2A), the simplicity is very good, but we pointed out that the music aspect is lost on the untrained eye. Some obvious musical suggestion needs to be added while trying to keep the original clean look of this offering (if this can be done,Cindy).
Run with it, guys - I cannot offer much else in specific feedback.
Thanks a bunch,
Eddiy :wizard:
eddiy
05-13-2007, 09:40 PM
P.S. to Medigraph:
Even though you expanded your designs in 5.0 (message #32), and they follow the prefered horizontal look, the graphic art slants backward
in opposition to the right-hand slant in all the fonts. Also, I'll mention again that the client wants the flower to resemble a rose.
Eddiy :)
