Logo Design for New Business

The Brief

The brief is to create a logo for the new business “Cancleanse”. This business will offer a service to clean & deodorize domestic wheeled trash cans.

Because this is a relatively new type of service not commonly available it is felt that in order to rapidly communicate exactly what the service entails the logo should be made up of the company name (Cancleanse), the tagline (The Trash Can Deodorization and Sanitization Service) along with a Character sketch derived from a wheeled trash can to demonstrate the type of trash can cleaned.

The (very) basic sketch shows the idea in mind where a trash can has a happy smiley face as he scrubs himself with a shower brush with nice clean bubbles floating around. Note he will probably need another arm added!

The photograph shows the detail of this type of wheeled trash can for reference. Note we do not wish to use the shade of green of the bin in the photograph.

We have chosen the green and blue color scheme to link to the color of most bins (green) and the blue representing the clean water. We are open to other suggestions in terms of variations to the color scheme.

The fonts used in the above are for demonstration purposes only and again we are open to suggestions.

Here's one from me. I can do one with the cartoon can as well, just takes me a little longer. ;)

Thanks for that - the trash can definitely needs the cartoon can with wheel etc. The colors are on the right line but definitely need to be more vibrant and fresh.

Thanks Bill - the main bin character is definitely more the direction we are thinking. For sure though the colors need to be blue/green or something more outstanding, fresh and vibrant. I would also be interested in seeing some versions with different fonts. Great first effort though!

Many thanks Deanna - this is probably my favorite so far in terms of the arrangment of the character and text. As it will be more verstile for branding different objects, clothing etc.

The shiny twinkles are also a very nice touch.

Many thanks for all entries so far. Would still be interested in seeing something with more visual impact though. Something very eye catching and outstanding when put on the side of a van.

Perhaps use of colored outlines around the font? Or elaborate on the shiny twinkle idea? Perhaps drawing inspiration from how domestic cleaning products and washing powder are branded.
Once again we are open to using other colors. The pink in the above color scheme is not really working for us though.
