[Project Complete] Due: Apr 27 - Dog Play Center Logo - $150

We are a dog daycare opening in mid-summer and we need a logo to go with our name. The only ideas we have are that we want cartoonish pictures of our 3 dogs incorporated into the logo. I have attached pictures of 2 of our dogs and will repost tomorrow with a picture of the other one. They are a chocolate brown Australian mix, a black pug and a blonde Shih Tzu. Our company name on the logo should read The 3 Pooches in Paradise Dog Play Center.

We are a dog daycare center. Dogs can run and play all day, cage-free while their owners are at work. We also sell pet retail items.

How long have you been in business?
Opening in mid-summer

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
We want to set ourselves apart from the competition and with our unique name, we want a unique logo.

What are your long term goals?
We hope to be so successful we can open multiple locations in different areas. We would also like to do dog training classes and boarding in the future.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
April 27th

Green, black or brown. We need colors that will look good in black and white as well as color. We like bright, fun colors.

Cartoon illustrations of our 3 dogs (pictures attached). Maybe something tropical.

Here are the pictures of the other dog we want as a cartoon in the logo. We know how it may be difficult to incorporate all 3 dogs into the logo, so if any designer has some creative ideas without using cartoon characters of the dogs, we'd love to see those, too! Titania - Thanks for your submission. We love your design! You have captured the dogs perfectly!!

A couple of thoughts...We were wondering if you could do the dogs in a different color? Not sure about the green dogs, but we like the green and yellow on the words. Maybe another bright color? We'd like to see maybe one other bright color, in addition to the green and yellow. A coral, maybe? Or a bright blue?

We're also thinking of taking out the "The" in our name to make it just "3 Pooches in Paradise Dog Play Center." Can we see it with just "3 Pooches in Paradise Dog Play Center"? Would that completely wreck the design? We love what you've done and don't want to diminish the impact in any way.

Lutfi - We love the playful tone to the design! And the dogs are adorable - you also did a great job capturing them from the photos. Can we see a couple of revisions? We like Version #2 with the name underneath the dogs, as that will be easier to place on things. Can you change the light gray dog (the Australian mix) to the dark brown color like in Version #1? Also, the "in" is a little hard to see in the black and white version - almost runs together. Can you space it out a little more so it's easier to read - also enlarging Dog Play Center just a tad. We were also wondering if you could incorporate something tropical into the design - not sure how, maybe a palm tree somewhere? Because we really like the way the dogs are placed and how playful they look, but we also would like to see if we could add something that relates to the "Paradise" part of the name.

Deanna, aka loguru - we love the beachy, tropical feel of this design! Really speaks to the "Paradise" in the name.The palm tree, the sun and the colors we really like and the paws in place of O's was a great touch! We like the dogs on top of the words, but we wanted to see if you could revise a couple of them - the dark brown Australian mix looks great, but maybe you could put some more wrinkles on the Pug's face and fix his back leg - not sure if maybe it just needs to be removed or if there's a way it can be fixed to look more like he's sitting. Also, can you trim down the Shih tzu in the back, maybe just on that left side, so she doesn't look so hulking.

The logos all have their unique points and that's exactly what we're looking for...This is going to be a hard choice! Can't wait to see more!

Titania - yes, those colors are great! the top one with the slightly orange color works for us. We love the dogs in yours so much, but were wondering if there is anything you can add that would speak to the "paradise" part of the name? We love the logo as is, but aren't sure if we need to add something to speak to the "paradise" part.

Titania, we were wondering if you could try to color the dogs more natural colors. The shih tzu on the right is probably ok, but can you color the dog on the left with the big ears brown, and the pug in the middle maybe gray or black? We will wait to see your revisions before we decide, just love your design with the palm trees.

So we have finally reached a decision, after much debate! We feel the logo that best suits our needs is Titania's Version 04, for the way the name and the dogs are emphasized equally.

Titania, we are still choosing which colors we like best, so we will post this weekend with what we need. Thanks!

Thank you all for your unique designs and for the work and time you put into these logos. We had such a hard time making this decision! There were elements we loved about all three and we kept going back and forth between them all. You all do fantastic work and we were very impressed with the accurate way each of you captured our dogs.

Titania, we've decided we like Version 04 b, with the blue background.

Can we see 2 minor revisions: Change the color of the big-eared dog to the brown color she is in Version 04 c. I think the color may be P 1545C? Also, the right leg of the shih tzu looks a little awkward (right beside the pug). Can you move it down just a tad towards her left leg? Not far, just so it doesn't look like it's just hanging there backwards.

I think once we see that, that'll be it for revisions. Thanks!!
