Project Summary:

Hi all, yet another new sub brand for our company. We are offering telephones and hosted IT services on a per user basis for a simple rental per user.

What text should be included in the main part of the logo?

The words PayPerUser should be included below the icon but not as part of the logo design as they might be subject to change.

What type of product or service do you offer?

We are offering hosted desktops, local PC's and a telephone service to UK clients.

How long have you been in business?

We've been around for 4 years now although this is a new way to sell the existing services we offer.

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?

A simple icon which is going to be matched with simple pricing and terms for the end customer.

What are your long term goals?

We have simple product offerings which are kind of "does what it says". These are support, payperuser and every message. The only exception to this rule is the latest icon we have named "Wifo" which was won on this forum last month.

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?

Ideally ASAP as ever, if you are going to input let us know so that we can hold on. ideally we will have a cut off date by the end of this week for announcing a winner by Saturday / Sunday

Audience Profile:

We are only B2B, our target market is the 10-90 user workplace for this offer.

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:

What type of logo would you like?

Maybe something in the Microsoft style of imagery, we support and supply mainly Microsoft desktops. It wouldn't hurt to portray that.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)

Blue / Orange, these are carried through the range of product offerings.

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?

I had thought about a kind of MSN style icon, as in an individual or group of individuals - "per user"

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?

Simple to understand - does what is says on the tin

What is your tagline or slogan?

None..

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

Simple to understand - does what is says on the tin

Where will your new logo be used?

On the web mainly although it could be included in any flyers or perhaps a future group brochure

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?

BT are probably the biggest, they have a bigger budget than us.

List competitive URLs if possible

www.bt.com

What sets you apart from your competitors?

We are targeted small and have a UK call centre. We offer local support and professional advice for a great price.

Targeted Message:

State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:

Professional

Hi all,

Thank you for the early entries..

Pracus, not very keen on this one I'm afraid. Looks a bit like a fat bloke with a plate.

Offbeat, I would like to see multiple users - for that the size would need to be reduced.

Titania, getting there although not quite yet i'm sorry.

I have attached an image a friend put together today which could be expanded on..

Hi Bojan,

Thank you for your entry. I like the simplicity but I am looking for something a little more compact and immediately recognisable.

Blesseville,

I'd like to see more than one user, perhaps somehow simpler, whether it be an outline of the users..

Blessville, Pracus

you guys are both getting closer, I'm not sure if there is a bit too much detail.

Hi,

Blessville & Titania are the closest but I'd still like to see anybody elses variation perhaps on the two merged..

Sorry Blue cherry not what I'm looking for.

I'm sorry all if I lack a bit of clarity in my input - I kind of know what I want but I am waiting for your inspiration to grab me.

Hi All,

I'm not particularly with any so far and maybe I'm pushing you all off track. Reading my intro, can someone perhaps come up with a simple but professional icon / logo which fits our value proposition.

It needs to be clean and plain but stand out..

I'm sorry - normally something grabs me from the project threads.

Hi everyone,

I'm liking guetizo version 1 a lot.. I think we might be on the same wavelength. Can you show me this design more as an icon and the words like it might be displayed in a small image like 70px x 35px . I like the fact that it is subtle yet bold, like the curves and the suggestion without the overstatement.

nhr, sorry not for me - nothing specific wrong just a feeling more than anything.

Blue cherry, like the concept, looks to be a bit like cubicles and users from a plan view. Not quite the one though.

Titania, version 04 in you last post more than any other but not quite the right logo.

Hi Guetizo,

Could I see version 5 without the ball behind the images please?

If you could show at normal size and as a small image please?
