Project Summary:
To create a unique brandable logo for Teeny Bikini.
Primarily will be used for tagging on bikini’s (clearly visible and discernable), website, accessories, jewelry, pendant’s encrusted with crystals, etc.

What text should be included in the main part of the logo?
No required text necessary. But you can combine Teeny Bikini, initials in if you like. Or even making up a brandable symbol is acceptable.

What type of product or service do you offer?
Luxury Swimwear/sportswear

How long have you been in business?
Start-up

What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity?
Build a recognizable, worldwide luxury micro-mini bikini brand.

What are your long term goals?
N/A

When is the deadline for final entries before choosing a designer?
05/07/07

Audience Profile:

Please describe your existing audience
Women who wear micro bikini’s. Women who want quality, luxury, and sexiness with their bikini’s.

Who would you like to add to your audience?
N/A

Perception/Tone/Guidelines:

What type of logo would you like?
Not particular to specifics, but a few ideas we had in mind included, linitials of T.B. Also, a usable, recognizable symbol (i.e. – Playboy bunny, Polo- pony, Chanel’s initials, etc.) Something that is sizable to fit onto a bikini or charm. Also possible ability/changeability to encrust with jewels.

Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?)
None in particular

Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo?
Also can include tropical scene, images of bikini’s, women’s figures, (silhouette of women backside, including the g-string bikini making the “t” and her bottom making the “b”), incorporating the T&B into butterflies, palm trees, pretty much anything is possible, as long as it is “girl friendly” visually.

Communication Strategy:
What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business?
Sexy, Quality, Originality, Exclusivity, Luxury.

What is your tagline or slogan?

What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience?

Where will your new logo be used?
Primarily this will be used tagging on bikini’s (clearly visible and discernable), accessories, jewelry, pendant’s encrusted with crystals, etc.

Competitive Positioning:
Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos?
Wicked Weasel, I like this logo. Particularly that it includes bikini’s and their style within the logo. It is small, and fits well onto a micro bikini, and I feel it represents the suits well.

List competitive URLs if possible
www.wickedweasel.com
www.microkitten.com
www.sweetstringsswimwear.com

What sets you apart from your competitors?
I believe what will set Teeny Bikini apart from our competitors is the detailing in our bikini’s and quality. We are adding a new kind of luxury to the micro bikini niche. Only a certain kind of people like the micro bikini style, but now they can also have custom looks, exclusivity, and trend. People who desire to stand out, be unique and sexy, confident and daring but still prefer the micro style.

Targeted Message:
State a single-minded word or phrase that will appropriately describe your company:
Where less is more/Where less is best
Less Fabric, More Looks

Thank you for your interest in this project. A nice start. We know that there are a lot of talented artists out there, and we are anxious to see more unique ideas.

The #4 entry is cute, like the T, but not crazy about how the ‘b’ looks. Can we make it longer? Or curvier. It is not working for me now, but I think it has potential.

We particularly enjoyed #5 also. Very unique. I like the difference in color use, cannot tell if the “bb’s” are something – Is there some way we can flush out the logo a little more?? Perhaps play with the colors and dimensions.

We are anxious to see other creative ideas.

#7 & #8 posts, these are really cute. I like that they are versatile. However, our bikini’s are just a tad smaller than what you have. Can you incorporate a smaller version of the bikini into the logo???

We are getting much closer to what I imagined. But designers, please keep in mind – I want you to think out of the box- get really creative – I know you all have great talent and I would like to utilize it.

We have reviewed all of the logo’s submitted thus far. Thank you for your time and efforts, there are many talented artists, no doubt.

Unfortunately we are still not totally sold on a logo. Though many are touching on some points we like, there is nothing that really sets it off.
A few logos on the board now that we would still like to see re-worked a tad if possible are
#5 Blesseville: perhaps working a bikini bottom into the logo? Changing the colors. Please see previous comments I posted earlier.
#7 Blue Cherry Graphics:
#15 Pracus: Can we take out some butterflies, Perhaps incorporate a T&B into bikini (instead of butterfly? Or make part of his wings??) It might be a little TOO girlie for me. 

Keep up the great work, and ideas – we are building momentum in the right direction!

Tatiana -

I really enjoyed this design. To me, right now there are three elements to it, the T, the B and the Butterfly.

Can we find a way to condense to three elements into two parts, or even into one. Either the B in the butterfly, OR using the T&B in the butterfly (the B being the wings, the T being the body? Offsetting the letters so that they are still distinguishable from the butterfly, but yet, still a part of the butterfly.

Its doesn't have to be eXactly a B, it can be b-ish, just enough so you can tell what it is supposed to be..if you want.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their participation in this design project.

There were a lot of great ideas presented and it made for a very difficult decision. You are all very talented artists.

Ultimately we have chosen to go with Titania's version. I have a revision I would still like you to do though, so please get with me, so we can do that.

Thanks again for everyone's effort, it is greatly appreciated.

Katie
